AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t look at his ‘flip flop’ as a ‘flip flop’.
I never believe his lies about the border illegals
or any of this campaign trail rhetoric....they’re all
lies (except for what’s said in these secret meetings.)
What would be interesting is the question of whether the Dems would go along. Obviously, it would have to start in the Congress. I think the conventional wisdom is that the Dems would jump at the chance of extending the right to vote to 12 million Mexican immigrants. But then, I am not so sure. Certainly McCain would be a lame duck on day one. He would not care whether the voters hate his guts in 2012. If the Dems went along for the ride, though, they could be looking at a midterm bloodbath.
McCain has never changed his mind about amnesty. The only “change” has been one of sequencing, i.e., the border first then amnesty.
I will NOT be voting for McCain. See my Tagline.
McCain sponsored the so-called Comprehensive Immigration Act with his buddy, Ted Kennedy, and he has never wavered from his wish to grant amnesty to illegals. At least he has been consistently wrong...
While I am not a McCain fan .. I did hear him say that he realizes the public wants the borders closed first.
I think our goal should be to make sure that happens .. and force Congress to put through the rest of the garbage in separate legislation .. which will have a harder time passing. We simply cannot allow the SENATE to have a 60-vote margin of democrats.
And .. as long as Bush is president .. there won’t be anything more done because the Bush-haters in Congress will do whatever it takes to keep Bush from having any success in that area.

We stopped them from passing amnesty with McCain in the Senate. We will stop them with McCain in the White House.
Bush would have signed the bill. McCain will sign the bill. Bush pushed the bill. McCain might push the bill.
No change. Except we can replace McCain in the Senate with an anti-Amnesty senator.
McCain can’t do anything by himself, and amnesty is just one of those things that we are going to have to fight at the congressional level, just like we did before.
What did you expect him to tell La Raza?
Perhaps we should all stop filing/paying our taxes, and demand amnesty later...
Do you know why McCain is the GOP candidate?
Hispanic Republicans (Cubans) voted for him en masse, and against Romney in Florida.
