Mav Mac better start praying for a air assault by the 527s to change this situation.

Bologna! These are the same numbers from Dukakis vs. Bush, 20 years ago.
We all know how that ended.

Whoever wins is going to win with fewer than 300 electoral votes.

I think that McCain is ahead right now, and barring an economic collapse will win rather easily in November.
And I don’t even like the man!

Something’s fishy with these poll numbers. It’s going to be a close election, not a landslide to either side.
To: nwrep
So how does this guy come up with these numbers?
Saw an unscientific poll the other day asking who was more honest, McCain or Obama. McCain came out ahead in every State, finishing behind Obama only in the District of Columbia.

Today’s Gallup Daily Tracking Poll has Obama up 46 - 44 among Registered Voters, and it hasn’t changed in 3 days. When you measure Likely To Vote and Most Likely To Vote McCain is ahead, hardly bad news.

this thing is pure Dem party crap . Its the usual Dem media person twisting the figures to instill dissent . Its using data from two of the worst poll groups around ARG and Quinpec who are always dead wrong.
This lefty calls South Caroline a weak Rep when the only poll has MCCain up by 10 points and Va as Blue when the only poll shows them tied ? The wave of twisted polls favoring the Dems have started and will continue for the next 5 months.

B. Hussein Obama is so radical that any “moderate” (code talk for stealth liberal) looks like a considerably better choice.
My hope is that McCain would provide some measure of check and balance against a rat controlled congress.

I've been tracking InTrade and Rassmussen, and both have McCain running at 248-250 EV, nowhere as low is this is reporting. Furthermore, the effects of the end of the Democrat primary haven't come in yet in various state-specific polls, and there is still the convention ahead to finalize things.

No 527 help for McCain.
No one seems interested in running one for him.
I have thought about it a lot, and I don’t know which scenario is the worst. Either Obama wins and the country gets screwed-up even more than it is, or Obama loses and we have race riots again like we had back in the late 60’s. It just seems like a lose-lose situation to me.
