Abstinence means fewre teens having sex.

Fewer teend havign sex means fewer teens getting pregnant.

Fewer teens getting pregnant means less illegitimacy.

That in turn means less poverty,. less crime, and fewer people on welfare — in other words, fewer people dependent on the government.

That means less power and control over you for the liberals.

And that cannot be alowed.

When I became a teen, I was treated as an adult. Today, doctors and psychologists agree this is incorrect. Teens may be growing into adult bodies, but their minds are still immature and quite child-like. That's why adolescent medicine was born to address their special needs. Teens may have sexual awareness but they're not ready for the demands and pressures created by adult sex. And the consequences of teen pregnancy can be life-changing. You wonder what the Left has against abstinence. No one ever died from not having sex and relationships can be healthier and last longer if teen couples refrain from sex. The message our society sends is having sex is good. Maybe - but its definitely not good for every one - especially for our children. Waiting til they are older helps them to be ready to have sex at the appropriate time. We shouldn't mess up our kids' adolescence just to impose our adult concepts on them. We should guide them towards the pleasures and responsibilities of adulthood and not assume they are ready to take that on and yes - that includes sex. Supporting abstinence education is a way of saying we respect our children enough to know they will do the right thing. Which is what the Left is fighting at all costs to avert and that's why we must stop them. For the children.

This movement against teaching abstinence have nothing to do with sex ed. It is one of many methods socialists are using to destroy our Representative Democracy.

As the "pregnancy pact" girls show, most of the students know what causes pregnancy, and how to prevent it.

Some choose not to do so. I'm not sure if abstinence education as it's currently taught is the best way of reaching these children, but as long as they choose to become pregnant, no amount of traditional sex ed is going to stop it.
