The parts I caught were interesting but nothing earthshakingly new.
He did seem to answer more candidly some of the caller’s questions than he has sometimes seemed willing to do face to face. Many times, face to face, he’s resisted going into stating any opinion that he couldn’t demonstrably back up with tons of evidence or even proof. This time he was willing to state an opinion that was somewhat conjecture.
For example, he doesn’t think much of the Pledien hypothesis or story.
He also noted that several of the most famous debunkers had very high security clearances and at least one worked extensively on highly classified stuff . . . and more than one would have been well placed with proper clearances for doing disinformation projects for the powers that be on the topic.
And, of course, he’s an expert on the Betty Hill star map and the genius woman who verified it.
It’s easy to understand the need for disinformation in these areas. Nations that don’t venture into space don’t have the same need for secrecy that we do.
