It doesn't matter how you feel about McCain. The fate of Western Civilization is in the balance.

When Losing Isn’t Affordable

November and The War on Islamofascism
By Rene Guerra

Unambiguous success in Iraq and unequivocal victory in the rest of the global war on Islamofascism is not a choice; we don’t have any other alternative, for it is a matter of our very survival. It is not a matter of “prestige” or any other hubristic notion; it is about our own hide, particularly when America faces the grim prospect of Barack Hussein Obama becoming the next president of the United States of America.

The term “Unambiguous Success in Iraq”, cited in the above opening paragraph, is deemed to mean: 1- Defeat of terrorists to insignificance or, better, to nonexistence, 2- Disarmament and disbandment of all militias, 3- Strengthening of the military and all other security forces, 4- Cementing effective democracy (democratic elections and participatory-democracy form of governance), 5- Activation of the economy of Iraq, 6- Further stabilization of the entire country; and 7- Enrollment of Iraq as an active ally in the rest of the global war on Islamofascism.

The Backstab America Mob

However, the Democrat Party of nowadays and the rest of the Left, along with the Backstab America Mob (the BAM) have been intensively engaged -- since before the launch of Operation Iraqi Freedom on March 20, 2003 -- in impeding America’s success, and even facilitating her defeat in Iraq.

The BAM . . . what’s that?

They used to be benignly called “The Blame-America-First Crowd” (BAFC) from the milestone speech that Jeane Kirkpatrick -- that remarkable true American of -- delivered at the Republican Convention in 1984...

I didn’t say McCain was a super liberal, nor did I say he’s a hyper liberal.

We’ve already established that your core values allow you to enthusiastically support a liberal, provided he has an (R) after his name and his opponent is a super or hyper liberal.

My question was will you enthusiastically support a super liberal next time, if the opponent manages to be slightly more liberal?

It should have been clear from my example that I wasn’t referring to McCain. Unless he really is in favor of late-term abortions. He isn’t, is he?

Just curious, is there any single issue with which you agree with McCain?
Is there any single issue with which McCain has a better position than Obama?

Quite possibly, more than I can afford, or more than my body could take.

If Obamaramadingdong get POTUS, I think I will just climb up into the mountains somewhere and live off MRE’s.

Who is this WE, kimosabe?

I'm conservative, but I'm not into political suicide. McCain IS the Republican nominee. In the November election, it will be between him and Barack Obama. There are no other viable candidates. Given my knowledge of the Democrat Party's stand on the issues about which I care deeply, I do not want one of their number anywhere NEAR the White House for the forseeable future. If that means that I have to accept a less than perfect Republican for that position, so be it. I'm not thrilled about it, but I don't want a hard core Marxist in the White House.

This has been a strange year for Republicans, with several conservative candidates splitting the primary votes, and allowing the more moderate candidate to take the nomination. We can pout and bitch all we want about the fact that our guy isn't the nominee, but that deal is done, and we have to now deal with the reality on the ground. McCain is a far sight different from Obama, and I would much prefer him to be making the decisions as President than Obama or any other Democrat.

Difficult questions since John Sidney McCain states opposite positions in almost every thing. Two exceptions: CFR and amnesty. He sure loves illegal aliens.

Does anyone seriously believe that McCain has a chance? The guy is loony tunes, should have retired since he finds Senate too strenuous and has missed 60% of the votes!

*shrug*

There are plenty of people who would support and vote for the Antichrist, if he was running against Lucifer.

Some of them are even on FR, telling us that McCain is a wonderful choice, given the alternative.

We really need a way to vote AGAINST politicians.

The real irony?

McCain will lose because the damnocrats will do a major data dump 30 days before the election, the MSM will run with it in full glorious loving detail, and because of McCain-Feingold CFR he and his supporters won't be able to get out the truth in time for the elections.

I suspect our only real hope is a clean slate.

Perhaps some terrorist group will hit the full reset button in the misguided belief that they would be hurting us?

PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOT ADVOCATING THIS!!!
