It’s a lectern, not a podium. You stand on a podium as where a conductor of an orchestra would stand. You stand behind a lectern. Just being picky ..... product of home schooling, sorry.

Modified Presidential Seal Called a “Transitional Form”
Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Senator Obama brushed aside criticism of his appropriation of a modified Presidential Seal in his campaign appearances, calling it “a transitional form of the seal. I’m not too happy with the eagle, it’s an aggressive bird. And the arrows are terrible symbolism. But I felt it would be too traumatic to try to change it all at once.”
Obama’s seal includes the same bald eagle clutching an olive branch and arrows in its talons, but in place of the stars-and-stripes shield in the center of the eagle’s body, is the campaign’s trademark “O.” Instead of saying “ “Seal of the President of the United States” around the outer ring, the words “Obama for America” and www.barackobama.com appear.

At College(to be left unnamed), when someone was really a duufus, a total jerk, a clutz, a total goofup, a gangling uncoordinated putz who made one funny pathetic mistake after another, they were affectionately termed a type of sneeze: phonetically as “ adouche chu”. Never quite figured out what it really stood for! Sure seems to fit with this candidate, B.O.;-O
You see, this wasn't a stupid political move it was just for that one little event in Chicago. /bs
BHO in front of his quasi-seal will go down in political history like Mike Dukakis riding around in a tank. Two images that both look phony and unlikely.
Last night on another thread, someone posted a US Title Code that prohibits using a seal such as the Presidential seal and others for any reason such as what the Obamanation campaign did. It comes with a penalty and fine. Did anyone else read that post? I did not bookmark it.
This incident did provide us further insight into the judgment of Obama and staff. It wasn’t reassuring, but it was consistent with other observations concerning judgment.
