This sounds like a repeat of 8 years ago - when all the talk about the Lame Duck Bill Clintoon and his "legacy". No substance, just worried about how history would view him.
In my book, GW tried his very best to compete with Clinton in every aspect except hanky-panky in the Oval Office.
What a crying shame how our point of view can change over 8 years - and how many of us really liked Bush II at first, and then watched him mis-handle so many things, and flat-out betray the US in other ways. I am truly disgusted.
And then the same Republican Party that fed us the "compassionate conservative" line of junk is now trying to force-feed us the liberal and mentally disturbed Juan McCain...
Half the voters are too stupid to have the right to vote and then the other half were scared enough of algore to elect Bush.
