My best friend and his wife invited us to dinner this Saturday. Well, I come home and our wives are sitting at the kitchen table thinking of a place to go eat. Out of the blue I suggest Samoa Cookhouse! My buddy’s wife exclaims that she’s been thinking about/wanting to go up there for a couple of months. So, we’re heading up Sat. morning, a leisurly drive up 101, get a motel and go to dinner at the cookhouse. Get up Sunday have breakfast and drive home. Would like to meet you while we’re there. And, can you recomend a nice motel?

LOL...No but I stayed at the Peabody Hotel in Fort Worth so I could watch the Ducks walk out of the elevator to the swimming pool on a special red carpet they rolled out for them...

Re your tag line. I thought about how we were one vote away from despair as in the La death penalty case. I forget what the vote was in the taking of private property rights case.

Just heard on the radio all the roads going east of Eureka are closed due to several out of control forest fires. That would be hiway 36, 96 and 299 and several forest service roads...
