He screwed up big! Making deals (reaching across the aisle) to get his agenda through the La. Leg. No going back now.

Good.
It may be more symbolism than reality given the difficulty in recalling people.
Go get him.

Jindal is smart enough to realize one of the first ways you slow the flow of corruption in Louisiana Politics, is pay the politicians more, so they do not have to look for other ways to make money, ie. kick backs. The pay they were getting was absolutely ridiculous. Jindal is a great conservative and will be a great Governor of Louisiana. Just yesterday Jindal signed into law the chemical castration of sex offenders that molest children and are convicted.

Sounds more like the Democrats expressing displeasure that any Republicans got elected.
I didn't see a single Democrat on that list. Doesn't mean there won't be one. But, it's suspicious at best.
The tradition in Louisiana has been to keep the members of the legislature poor so they'll accept bribes easier. Darned shame we have Freepers who appear to support such corruption.

“a pay raise doubling their salaries” is a bit misleading, the Legislators were only making 16,000 grand a year, that is a pretty slim wage for working year round Red_Devil.
I think 37,000 is too much as well, though, they should be paid what the average Louisianian makes, I bet that is more like 22,000 or something.

“No going back now.”
Once they have crossed to the dark side there is no going back.
