Unstamped certificate suggests Obama may not be "natural born" US citizen

The "birth certificate" claimed by the Barack Obama campaign is not certified as authentic and appears to be a photoshopped fake.

Janice Okubo, Director of Communications of the State of Hawaii Department of Health, told Israel Insider: "At this time there are no circumstances in which the State of Hawaii Department of Health would issue a birth certification or certification of live birth only electronically." And, she added, "In the State of Hawaii all certified copies of certificates of live birth have the embossed seal and registrar signature on the back of the document."

So if he were registered as being born in Hawaii, Barack Obama -- because only he or another member of his immediate family could by law request a "Certification of Live Birth" -- must have a certified paper copy, with embossed stamp and seal, or he could request one. But what his campaign has put forward as genuine, according to the senior spokesman in the relevant department of the State of Hawaii, is not in fact a certified copy. It is not valid.

The Obama campaign, however, continues to flaunt the unstamped, unsealed, uncertified document -- notably in very low resolution -- on its "Fight the Smears" website, with campaign officials vowing that it's authentic, sending the image around as "proof" to reporters, and inviting supporters to refer to it as they battle against supposed distortions and calumnies against their candidate. However, the campaign refuses to produce an authentic original birth certificate from the year of Obama's birth, or even a paper version with seal and signature of the "Certification of Live Birth." Nor has it even published an electronic copy with the requisite embossed seal and signature.

This is why I think it’s significant how the records were kept all along. If a brand-spanking new database was enacted, we need to know when and by whom.

Since other states maintain and provide certified copies of personally prepared & signed birth certificates, I want to know just what Hawaii’s normal process is.

Yep. They were off a pixel when they dragged in a sample from elsewhere in the doc.

My guess would be that the blank certificate was made from the KOS version of the Obama certificate. Just to muddy the waters, no doubt.

So where is the original? Can the State of Hawaii produce a reprint/replacement BC for the democrat’s presumptive presidential aspirant? Is there such an animal? Can we compare it to other BCs generated during that time.

Did you notice the blank certificate also has the phrase “date filed”?

That argues against forgery. Why didn't they put "date accepted", as in the DeCosta certificate? Why go to the trouble of producing a fake with the weaker wording?

Oh that’s garbage. We lost to Clinton because too many Republicans defected to Ross Perot, the economy was in a Recession and Papa Bush raised taxes when he said he wouldn’t.

Clinton got 43% and the GOP still lost. It was a pathetic performance, that’s why the GOP lost. Everyone knew about Clinton’s issues but the fact of the matter was that our candidate sucked, despite being and incumbant.

So what does this party do? They go out and nominate John McCain....great.

McCain is different because he was born on a US military base which is considered US soil.

McCain is different because both his parents were citizens. And the base in question (of which his father was commander) did not have a hospital in 1936. So, it's quite likely he was born off base.

Now, in Obama's case, his father was not American, and his mother had not resided in the US for five years after the age of 14, as is required by law. Therefore, if he were born in Kenya, he would not even be a citizen, much less a natural born citizen.

But Congress gets to define who is a natural born citizen, at least for those who are not born on US soil and subject to US jurisdiction, who are automatically deemed natural born citizens by the 14th Amendment. If Obama were found to have been born in Kenya, Congress could retroactively remove that pesky five-year requirement, thereby making Obama a natural born citizen after all. Of course, Bush would have to sign it. Imagine the phone call with McCain ... "Well, Juan, if I sign it, you get to run against the Bro. But if I veto it, it's the Ho. Which will it be?".

There is NOTHING to this. But these are the things that just make us look stupid so have at it.

I’d rather attack the man based on his ideology, his cocaine use, his promises that cannot possibly be paid for, his promise to pull out immediately in Iraq when we are winning this war, his negotiating redux of Jimmy Carter, etc, etc.

The idea that this guy isn’t legally a US Citizen and born in the US is ludicrous. Hillary would have been all over it.

Pretty simple, some states (especially back then) listed race as African, or black, or even...hold your breath...Oriental.

Different states, different counties, different folks at different hospitals. Lots of different reasons.
