Seymore has sources at the CIA. If it came from Bob Woodward, then it cam from the Pentagon.

Seymour Hersh = treasonous POS. You would think that being Jewish he would appreciate the USA wacking the biggest threat to Israel. He lives and breaths in Manhattan. He lives in a liberal echo chamber

If it was anyone but Hersch I’d be encouraged that Bush is doing something. Unfortuntely, Sy is no longer a reporter; he’s a Soros politcal hit man who makes sh*t up.

While I tend to agree with your assessment, I have a hunch that Israel will have plans in place (should Obama win) to deliver a crippling blow to Iran's nuclear capability and possibly to other Iranian infrastructure.

Israel is nothing if not thorough.

Sure, Sy. Whatever. Anyone who wants a hoot at Sy's expense can look up the Battle of Rumaila (New Yorker 22 May 2000). If Sy wants to make a few bucks off credulous New York media figures it's really no skin off my nose - he's done it before. They pay good money and they'll believe anything.

This is such utter BS. If the United States wanted to bring Iran to it’s knees tomorrow morning, all that needs to be done is to inform each and every other nation on this damn planet that IF they engage in ANY financial transactions with Iran, that THEY will be banned from ANY financial transactions with the United States.

IF other nations grant Iran airline landing privileges at THEIR airports, the United States will revoke all overflight and landing privileges for THOSE nations.

Want to ramp it up some more?

ANY nations that continue to conduct normal diplomatic relations with Iran will no longer have normal diplomatic relations with the United States. We will recall our ambassadors, close our embassies with those nations choosing Iran over the U.S., expell THEIR ambassadors and staff and there will be no diplomatic contact unless and until they ‘see the light’.

We inform the United Nations that they can either expel Iran from that august body, or they (the U.N.) can begin to pack their bags and GTF outta the United States within the next 14 days. We remind the U.N. that the United States and Iran are still in a technical state of war based on their invasion and occupation of our embassy in 1979, and we demand an unconditional surrender and the return of that violated U.S. soil in all of it’s pre-1979 pristine condition.

If the U.N. wishes to remain within the borders of the United States, they’ll play ball and eject Iran and further isolate those Islamofascists.

The United States Treasury freezes any and all assets it can locate belonging to Iran, and states clearly that those assets will remain frozen until Iran surrenders and/or regime change takes place and the mullahs and their little runt are swinging from ropes.

The United States puts Iran on notice that any and all Iranian vessels that come within range of United States Naval vessels will be considered legitimate targets and subject to sinking without warning. We further inform the Iranians that if they attempt to block the Straits of Hormuz through deliberate design or feigned ‘accident’, that it will result in the nuclear decimation of one or more of their cities, to be determined at the time of reprisal.

We are at war with Iran, we have BEEN at war with Iran, and it’s about time we start acting like it, or run up the damn white flag of surrender ourselves and start learning how to say ‘allah akbar’ in Farsi.

‘Preparing the Battlefield’ my ass.

Let the damn battle be joined!

"Under the law of war and armed conflict, necessary preparations must be made for the burial of soldiers of aggressor nations," said Maj. Gen. Mirfaisal Baqerzadeh, an Iranian officer in charge of identifying soldiers missing in action.

It's interesting that along with the usual "unnamed sources" he actually has a named source: and Iranian general

Too much trouble. I’d rather just bomb them.

Less paperwork...
