The Separation Of Church And State [Obama campaign site post on the "Jewish Lobby"]
Barack Obama Official Campaign Site ^ | November 7 2007 | REM

Posted on 07/01/2008 8:50:19 AM PDT by Winged Hussar

Those members of congress who are Christian, have voted more towards the right wing of the Republican Party, and have indicated extremist ideas that are detrimental to our remaining a secular society united by common “American” beliefs and values. Instead, they have become very divisive rather than uniting and have contributed to the vehement rhetoric that seems to pervade our public discourse. They would rather pander to those evangelicals that have taken up the mantle of representing “true” American values. However, those same values allowed Christian Cavalrymen to massacre Native Americans, slavery, and the lynching of African Americans by white Christian mobs in the Jim Crow South of the 20th Century.

Those members of congress who are Jewish, will never vote against any resolution that might be detrimental to the state of Israel. They will pass only legislation that continues to supply Israel with US money and military aid, even if that aid ends up killing Palestinians and bulldozing Palestinian homes. Historically the Jewish community in the U.S. has voted Democrat, and expressed very liberal views. These progressive ideals have aided greatly in our passing needed legislation that has been beneficial to American citizens. However, when it comes to our foreign policy toward Israel, the powerful Jewish lobby raised very little objection to the spying on the U.S. by Jonathan Pollard, nor the attack on the USS Liberty.

The above posting was sanctioned (tolerated) by the Obama campaign, noting that it is quite capable of finding and removing anti-Obama material within 36 hours of its posting.

The disclaimer "“Content on blogs in My.BarackObama represents the opinions of community members and in no way should be interpreted as endorsed or approved by the campaign” has been proven null and void as shown at

http://husaria.wordpress.com/2008/06/29/obama-campaign-sanctioned-anti-semitic-and-other-hate-speech/

and this is not the only proof of "exercise of editorial control" at my.barackobama.com.

We do not condone Jonathan Pollard's actions, even though allies have been known to spy on each other, and I think Israel has admitted responsibility for its mistake in attacking the "Liberty." The problem here is that this posting, as sanctioned by Barack Obama's official campaign site, is tying these things to "the powerful Jewish lobby."

In addition, the cited behavior of certain "Christians" toward Native Americans has nothing to do with what evangelicals would acknowledge as Christianity. This is hate speech, pure and simple, and it is welcome at Barack Obama's official campaign site.

American beliefs and values stem from it’s Christian roots. Author has it bass-ackwards....typical of liberals.

Things will “change” when Berserk Ogabe wins in November. Think secular humanism running wild.

Harvard had better scratch this loon off of their graduate list soon lest their already plummeting prestige reaches new depths. I know Obama was a simpleton...but man, he is REALLY simple.

Obama’s voters want to see nothing, hear nothing, or know nothing negative about their messiah. On the contrary, for the most part, they agree with his America hating, Israel hating pastor.

And a space alien too.
