Russians close to carrying out 'perfect murder' when they poisoned Alexander Litvinenko

Russian agents came close to carrying out the perfect assassination on British soil when they killed Alexander Litvinenko...

Security sources have disclosed that the former Russian spy would have died within hours had the poisoned tea he was given been served hot.

Litvinenko, a former KGB agent who had become a critic of the government of Russia's then president, Vladimir Putin...

Security sources say that during the meeting Litvinenko took just a few sips of the tea but left the remainder of the cup because it was cold.

"If Litvinenko had drunk all the tea he would have been dead very quickly, we are talking a matter of hours. Instead, because it was cold he survived a lot longer. That was how close his murderers were close to pulling this off without being identified. I doubt anyone would have checked for a radioactive substance.

The Russkies were certainly successful as assassins. Remember the microscopic poison-filled dart inserted in the leg of one of their enemies in the UK?

Another favorite trick (used by many operatives) is a drug administered during sexual intercourse that causes a fatal heart attack and dissipates long before the body is autopsied. I often wonder if Nelson Rockefeller was done in this way. The shame of daddy/hubby screwing around with a stranger in a hotel room effectively keeps the family from making many inquiries. Brilliant. Evil.

Guess they actually think their deeds will never be discovered. But God does see it all.

I think if the KGB had wanted to “get away with it” they could have. A killing in this style seems more like a message...

Although the KGB probably ordered the hit, the actual doer was a Bulgarian. The Ruskies liked to subcontract out the wet stuff to the Bulgarians because it gave them a cutout if the doer got caught. Not that it fooled anyone.

Yup. So what if he would have kicked sooner? It would have been just as bizarre. Unless they were hoping the authorities would put out a fast and painless cover story for the public like heart attack or stroke that would be plausible in the planned-for short amount of time.

Under what other circumstances would anyone ever be thankful for poor service at a restaurant? And just a bit of info;

Weight for weight polonium is about 2.5 x 1011 times as toxic as hydrocyanic acid (HCN).

An HCN concentration of 300 mg/m3 in air will kill a human within a few minutes. Hydrogen cyanide (under the brand name Zyklon B) was employed by the Nazi regime in mid-20th century

Putin is reaching all the worst Islamic and leftist dictatorships, using them as proxies in the Kremlin’s ongoing war against U.S., Israel and the West in general.

I thought this guy was a muslim shill? propoganda released to discredit him? It’s been reported Lit was a converted muslim. We like to stick our noses in other people’s stuff and tell them how they should take care. Who knows what this guy was doing. Another rumor is he was helping the moos get radioactive materials. Maybe Putin was doing everyone a big favor.

If he was trying to blackmarket plutonium, this would be the appropriate method for disposal. Sends a message to others. This stuff if really, really dangerous. See?
