Why is Bill O'Reilly so interested in protecting Jackson? I've been reading in certain blog comments that the "Reverend" called B-HO a "n----r." Unfortunately, we'll never know if these alleged rumors are true unless O'Reilly and FNC decide to stop their censorship and release the entire tape to the public.

Oh, just release the whole damned tape, OK?

If it had been a conservative, that tape would have been out pronto. So what’s their problem? Ethics?

O’REILLY: ‘We held back some of this conversation... we didn’t feel it had any relevance to the conversation this evening. We are not out to get Jesse Jackson. We are not out to embarrass him and we are not out to make him look bad. If we were, we would have used what we had, which is more damaging than what you have heard’...

BOR’s not protecting Jackson, he’s letting him know he’s got some blackmail material. If he wanted to protect him, he wouldn’t say on international TV that he’s sitting on “more damaging” video.

BOR would burn that tape in a second if Jackson agreed in return to do six Factor shows a year for the next three years.

The cat is out of the bag. If they released any part of the tape, they need to release it all. Especially after saying it’s worse than what we’ve heard so far! Maybe it’s about time people learned what “Reverend” Jackson is all about!

My second question is why is BOR in charge of this tape?

I just felt there had to be more to what Jesse Jackson was apologizing for than what Fox played last night. I do not feel what Fox aired was bad enough to warrant a public apology. In fact, I felt it was not that bad what Jesse said. Ho-hum is what I thought after hearing the 'hot mike' remarks.

But if there are more remarks that are more damaging that what we already know he said, then I might understand the apology? Jesse might be trying to nip it in the bud.

I don't understand the intensity here. Why does this matter?

So Jesse Jackson was talking bad about Obama; who cares? That's only hurting Jesse Jackson, and won't do anything to help us defeat the Messiah.

Bill O’Reilly AKA Mr. Loofah lies about FR but refuses to expose the truth about Jesse Jackson - even when it is on tape.

Why do we need our media to censor news.

And the left accuses the right of propaganda.

This whole thing smells like an engineered event

- Clintons have always said that Obama may be seen by white voters just another Jesse Jackson
- who better to dis Obama then, than Jackson?
- Jackson didn’t even call FNC, he immediately called CNN, before this was released, to “apologize”, ensuring a media blitz
- Is it a surprise that Jackson’s son is Obama’s campaign manager?
- Imagine this all happening at a FOX News studio, knowing that FOX will run with it big time (vs, say MSNBC).
- Not a big deal for Jackson to sacrifice himself for Obama. He is not running for public office again anyway, and neither will lose a single black vote over the issue anyway
- Meanwhile Obama gets to position himself as a centrist, esp. for white voters
- Obama will politely “forgive” Jackson, thus allowing the MSM to crown him as a “uniter.”

I’ll stand my earlier post that Jackson probably called Obama a “house-n%%%r”

I’m not sure why Fox wouldn’t release the tape unless they fear a race war over the use of that word or BOR begged them so that he can get Jackson back on his show as a guest.

In any case, it’s only a matter of time before some employees grabs a copy and throws it up on youtube.

This is a well crafted scam to make voters think Obeyme isn't such a bad guy along with the Rev. Wright distancing.
Ain't buying it.

amazing how everything — that’s e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g — somehow is reported as “helping” Obama.

Why is Bill O'Reilly so interested in protecting Jackson?

He's not.

He's teasing for a larger audience -- down the road. He'll milk this for all it's worth.

Why is Bill O'Reilly so interested in protecting Jackson?

For the same reason he had Medea Benjamin on twice within a week. For the same eason he kisses Al Sharptongue's butt. For the same reason h likes that racist Marc Lamont Hill. For the same reason he continues to waste air time on Geraldo even after Gearaldo threatened to "piss" on Michelle Malkin's head. (It chased Michelle away, but Geraldo is still a regular.)
