I haven't read all the comments, but I saw quite a few negatives and put-downs.

Personally, the essence of this movie is inspiring....(regardless of what some consider implausible)

I don't think a movie so non-politically correct can be made in today's climate....

..(the same could be said for Glory, another favorite of mine. )

Did you know that agents of the DIA visited the studios to inquire where the company got its hands on a T72? The remodeled vehicle was trucked through the streets of LA to the back lot for shooting. The DIA guys show up and want to know where and how they got the tank.

At the time I was working with a guy who had just come off four years as an Lt with the Rangers. He was not only impressed with some of the vehicles but with the tactics shown for the invasion.
