That's right! Somebody has to actually do these conspiracies for them to be true. I'm that somebody :)

I think you might stumbled on to the catch phrase for The Butterfly and The Crazy Lady!

LOL--it sounds like a promo for a show on the USA Network. At the bottom of the screen, they'll have a little Lynda Carter and the Orangatan graphic. "I'm that somebody!"

LMAO!! Yes!! I don't know why we aren't in the TV business.

(owns Haliburton)

I'll be on the first flight out of O'Hare. We can have the Biscuitville closed down for just us. Wait, you own Haliburton- send the jet!

I'd love to hear more about your colorful past, but I'm so sleepy tonight. Just promise me you're not the zodiac killer! ;-)

That is too funny.
I also liked Vison Quest. I was in the USAF when that one came out.
One of my buddies was a high school wrestler so he had to demonstrate take downs in the theater parking lot at the Presidio of Monterey. Good times.

H.Dean Stanton was at his best in Repo Man.

I’ve just been re-reading Hayek’s “Road to Serfdom”.

Sadly, I think much of the US populace buys into the utopian ideal of socialism, and we’re sitting around just waiting for someone to deliver us unto it.

Failing to realize how much we’ve

been

deliverED into it.

Never saw Repo Man, so I’ll take your word for it :)

I haven't read all the comments, but I saw quite a few negatives and put-downs.

Personally, the essence of this movie is inspiring....(regardless of what some consider implausible)

I don't think a movie so non-politically correct can be made in today's climate....

..(the same could be said for Glory, another favorite of mine. )

Did you know that agents of the DIA visited the studios to inquire where the company got its hands on a T72? The remodeled vehicle was trucked through the streets of LA to the back lot for shooting. The DIA guys show up and want to know where and how they got the tank.

At the time I was working with a guy who had just come off four years as an Lt with the Rangers. He was not only impressed with some of the vehicles but with the tactics shown for the invasion. The only thing lacking, he told me, was a Chem strike. After a couple of years teaching science he got bored and found an exec slot in an A Team. Where he went after that only He, God, and Ronald Reagan know.

Pootie poot won’t be happy with the studio. He will direct the SVR and the GRU to poison the director.
