That’s right. Both my husband and I are two voters who voted McCain in AZ under the rules established by our State Republican party.

Are you on the Republican National Committee?

The border state governors??? What a joke that one is.

Leaving politicians in charge of certifying the border indicate just how serious McCain is. How much pressure do you suppose it will take to set Arnold's pen in motion?

An short editorial in the LA Times questioning his comittment to providing health care to the children of migrant workers? A puff of air from one of Cruz Bustamonte's nostrils?

Oh Amnesty, Oh Amnesty,
No more green card to blight us.
Oh Amnesty, Oh Amnesty,
Juan McCain won’t fight us.
Then we’ll be free to come and stay,
We’ll take this country from the gringo.
Oh Amnesty, Oh Amnesty,
Por La Raza Todo.

Are we now to deny emergency care to minors regardless of citizenship?

“Not necessarily. Some immigrants are legal.”

You’re showing your ignorance of the law.
ALL immigrants are legal.

The issue is those who have come here in violation of the law. The law defines them as “illegal aliens”.

You are trying to confuse the issue just like McCain and the amnesty/open borders crowd.

RE: McCain and the RNC

I've had it with jerks who refuse to extend the courtesy of acknowledging that the problem for many is ILLEGAL aliens NOT immigration!

McCain admonished us to check the names on the Viet Nam Memorial. He does not have to scold me to remember the immigrants' history of proud and brave, selfless service! It was a tradition long before Viet Nam.

But unless things changed, the opportunity to serve was for legal residents, Senator McCain!

I am more than willing to accept breaks for ILLEGAL aliens who have assimilated and have looked seriously at changing their status to legal -- but I've got to think hard (again!) about voting for a jerk who so disrespects my opinion that he seems to enjoy the taunting.

Nope. Treat ‘em, deport ‘em, send the bill to President Calderon.

Actually McCain was rejected early in the primary last year, and the mainstream media started playing him up (mentioning him all the time) when Fred Thompson got in the race.

McCain is a media creation, the media knowing his name recognition would fool unattentive voters, and non conservatives.

Sometimes it's better to vote for who you believe in whether your an asterisk or not. Which the California recall proved with voters going for Schwarzenegger over Tom McClintock, a harsh lesson learned.

Time to look at Bob Barr.

***McCain won the Republican nomination fair and square under the rules that the Republican party established in each state.***

John McCain, angling to win a bigger share of the fast-growing Latino vote, is taking the risky step of placing an immigration overhaul at the center of his appeal.

The guys just does not get it. Or, if he does, just doesn't give a damn and is just spitting in the face of all those who are against Amnesty.

Either way, he ain't getting my vote. And please, spare me the "lesser of two evils" tap dance. I've done that one time too many.

“Bush has had many judges go without confirmation.”

That means absolutely nothing in relation to what sort of Republican appointed judges a Democrat controlled Judiciary Committee would approve or not approve for the Supreme Court.

You’re making little sense. It won’t matter who McCain wants to appoint with a solid Dem. majority in the Senate. The Dems. won’t roll over and help give 90+ votes to the conservative equivalent of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Then the USSC sits empty. There is nothing by law that says there has to be nine judges on the USSC.

“Then the USSC sits empty. There is nothing by law that says there has to be nine judges on the USSC.”

Lol, what BS, McCain will be “reaching across the aisle” and finding someone that Pat and Teddy can agree upon. You know, just like he’s worked with them before on legislation that has been listed here scores of times.

And, who believes McCain would appoint conservatives to the court, anyway? That’s be just like “I got the message” on immigration. He’s a liar and a weasel, and nothing he says during this campaign can be believed. I’ve watched him for too long.

We now have a voting block in our nation who demand that the borders be thrown open to millions of people of their ethnicity in return for their votes. If that isn’t a prescription for national suicide, I don’t know what is.

And here’s the real problem: Almost no one in mainstream politics seems to find this disturbing. It’s thought of as being a perfectly legitimate demand.

And we have voter ID here in AZ upheld by the courts. How is this going to happen?
