A conservative ally of Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Barack Obama should not speak at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate because he played no role in German reunification.
Erwin Huber, chairman of the Bavarian sister party to Merkel Christian Democrats, accused Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier of pandering to the U.S. presidential candidate by inviting Obama to speak in the center of Berlin.
Obama's tentative plans to hold a speech in late July at the Brandenburg Gate, a symbol of German unity, have exposed simmering tensions in the German government, an uneasy alliance between the main conservative and center-left parties.
Merkel and Steinmeier, who are from rival parties, may face off in a federal election next year.
"Obama didn't do anything for German unification," Huber told the Welt am Sonntag newspaper. "That's not a criticism, but as a result there is no reason to grant him such a privilege."

I once asked one of my very senior NCOs in Germany, way back in 1971, I asked him why we were still in Germany. He told me straight faced: "If you give the Germans a gun, a bullet, a tank and an airplane, they will start WW III. That is why we are here. Too keep them from doing it again. And, too keep the &#^%*@ Soviets from doing it." or words to that effect. Old SFC Gill never failed to cut right to the chase.

I think Obama is looking to “link up” with the traitor liberals in Europe.
His objective? To continue to destroy the European gene pool with more diversity and multicultural nonsense.
Based on his views, and the Che posters hanging up at his campaign offices, I'm pretty sure he would have supported keeping the Soviet domination of the East.
Not only did Obama “play no role” in German re-unification (granted, he was only a young lefty “community organizer” and budding law student by the late ‘80s to early ‘90s), but it is a sure bet that Obambi’s main sympathies at the point of German re-unification were with the regime of East Germany and certainly not with those eviiilllll capitalists in West Germany.
It would be crazy to allow him to propagandize before the Brandenburg Gate so that he can try to puff himself up into a figure of world-historical significance, but then I supposed that’s exactly what the socialist Mayor of Berlin is trying to accomplish.

Merkle should pass the word to Hussein’s gophers that Obama will not be permitted to enter the Country at Passport Control and that there wiil be hundreds of photographers present to capture the scene.

If you want a conservative America, then the US population has to be DOMINATED by that demographic. The same goes in Europe. Reduce current populations via abortion, climate change scares, and the pill and then flood both regions with millions of fast-breeding imports from undemocratic nations and what do you get? A new socialist state.
