A spokesman for the Mexican Embassy in Washington, Ricardo Alday, accused Texas of an irreparable breach of international obligation if it executed any of their citizens.

I am sorry this woman is grieving but I am grieving that these monsters are still breathing air. They should have died long ago. This was the most awful crime, I don't even like re living it to rejoice in their deaths.

Wasn't “Texas,” that was Governor Rick Perry, a man who get bashed as often and as hard as our current President. Means Liebral want the Gov. gone, too.

“Texas, a place with a long history of upholding the death penalty and of telling other governments to mind their own business.”
Way to go, Texas!! Keep up the good work.

Leave it to the NY Times to put up a picture of the killers grandmother instead of the victims.

” convicted in the 1993 rape and murder of two teenage girls here is scheduled for Aug. 5.”
Lag times between crime and punishment that are this bad or worse bug me to no end.

I am calling Gov. Perry (512-463-2000) to give him praises for this decision. I think everyone should do the same. Sometimes it is hard to stand up to a barrage of opposing forces and the governor needs a pat in the back from the Americans that believe in the rule of law.
