I believe the correct term is ‘legal brief whining’. But the Left is creating so many new terms that it’s hard to stay current. I still can’t get used to avoiding ‘liberal’ when I’m supposed to regurgitate ‘progressive’.
I think progressive is actually a better term historically. “Liberal” can be confused with the good old classical liberalism we all adhere to. “Progressivism” was a movement of a century ago that included, quite literally, many fascists and others who would “take things away from you for the common good.” The new progressives are a lot like the old progressives - and probably have no idea.
