The primary evidence that CO2 and the greenhouse effect have anything to do with raising global temperature is missing entirely. It isn't there.

I remember about 15+ years ago when Mt. Rainier was completely bare of snow- totally bare, all the way up to the summit - one whole summer. Locally there was great gnashing of teeth and dire predictions, typically about the "drought" that would result from no snow in the mountains.
Fortunately, everyone muddled through somehow, despite all the snooze media's dire predictions of calamity and the *whether-person's acute stupidity regarding the whole thing.
Now it's almost August, and most of the usually heavily traveled higher hiking paths are still covered with snow! And people are skiing down the mountainside- in mid-July!
Please tell me how I can get in on this carbon credit/global warming scam. Do I have to give up all my ethics or just most of them? Can I just be a little bit of a hypocrite or do I have to go all the way, like AlBore and Hollyweird?
*Whether person- One on teevee who professes to know about the weather, but must actually open a window and stick their head out in order to determine whether it is raining or whether it is sunshining.

I’m waiting for any liberal to comment on my “footprint” because I’m going to tell them that I use Al Gore as a baseline...and because of that I have a moderate sized forest I can burn down and still be under my quota.
