Now THAT’s some change I’d like to believe in. (forgive the re-use of the bad grammar slogan).
C’mon Pubbies! Let’s win all 58 in 08!
Bill Richardson was on Fox telling the Friends that there was NO bias with the NY Times...
“Baghdad” Bill doing the Goebbels schtick for the Rat party once again.
Ahhhhhhh “Obama-mania” I can’t turn the stations fast enough!!!
The poll numbers are encouraging. But keep in mind this is a “national survey”, and that the contest itself will be decided state-by-state. Those poll numbers are far more important.
The Rasmussen page says it will release Ohio poll results at noon today. These results will be more telling.
I cannot fathom how Obama can actually be leading McCain in some [otherwise] very conservative states. This is NOT good news.
I predict this election will be VERY close, if McCain can win it at all. The debates may be a key - that is, IF Obama chooses to participate (I have predicted in previous postings that he may actually decline). If Obama holds his own in the debates, or scores more than one or two solid body blows on McCain, the election may be over.
In any case, I think we should prepare ourselves for BIG losses in both the Senate and the House. McCain may be “the man standing alone” against a rabidly-rat Congress in 2009.
I sense Republicans running for House seats could better their chances by introducing and running on “an energy future for America” - a promise to enact legislation to build coal, build nuclear, drill everywhere, open ANWR, etc. And make this a MAJOR talking point in ALL their campaigns. But they won’t....
Watch Rasmussen’s poll numbers for Ohio at noon. Ohio will be one of the “weathermen who know which way the wind is blowing” this time around....

Deep down inside I can’t help but feel that you are correct. My parents taught me that everything happens for a reason and sometimes what seems like a disaster turns out to be a blessing in disguise. Of course she also assured that whistling past the grave yard would protect me from ghosts. I’ve whistled past every grave yard I’ve encountered for nearly 66 years now and I’ve yet to see even a single ghost or apparition. Maybe it works!
...and that’s not a hard thing to do...
What's important, REALLY important, is that Barry can play baxetball (sic) and hit Three Pointers. That's the impression I got anyway from his MSM traveling circus.
One ditz reporterette even fainted just watching him dribble.
Oops wait a sec ... my bad ... that was Chris Matthews.
It’s funny that McCain wants to try to run a gentlemans camgaign. He would be better off just acting like himself, he would get more respect. He is a bit of an ass, it would best if he acted like it. Why pretend, if he was more honest about his real personality he would be more popular.
He is who he is and he should act like it! He would make more headway in the polls but of course the media would act shocked. Obama is a tough opponent though, he has a way about him, that people think he has the answers when the truth is he is really just an affirmative action candidate. He acts self-confident, but it is because everyone around him makes him think he is God’ gift to the Universe.
Good one.
He’s as qualified for THAT as he is to be President.
I didnt see Obama quized on the surge on news until last night. It makes it hard for him to take credit.
