McCain's New Line On Obama 22 Jul 2008 04:04 pm

When we adopted the surge, we were losing the war in Iraq, and I stood up and said I would rather lose a campaign than lose a war. Apparently Sen. Obama, who does not understand what's happening in Iraq or fails to acknowledge the success in Iraq, would rather lose a war than lose a campaign.

Folks on the press bus say that the italicized sentence is new to McCain's oeuvre. So far today, he's used it twice.

I like it, and I think it is the Truth that McCain speaks. I do believe that Obama is naive and has no depth in his understandings of world politics or military engagements.

I think MCain is earning serious points by concentrating on America and not his inflated ego and international image.

McCain used the same line in Greendale WI about 2 months ago.

A vote for McCain is a vote against obama

What would you call someone who does not want to explore for new sources of energy including those in the vast Anwar region of Alaska?

What would you call someone who wants to tie up American courts with terrorists from around the world?

What would you call someone who wants to sit down face to face with terrorist regimes to negotiate peace?

Naive Obama

It’s an excellent line and one that will resonate with the more patriotic rank and file Democrats.

He’s making it easier but I’m still leaning towards “none-of-the-above”

I disagree, except for the part about Obama being a fascist with a world socialism View, but I think he had that before George Soros.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) said Friday that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is “extraordinarily naïve” on foreign policy and the economy and predicted that the Illinois senator’s “sweet talk” would lose out to Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) “straight talk” in November.

Obama ‘naive’ on national security
Chad Groening - OneNewsNow - 6/26/2008 9:40:00 AM

http://www.onenewsnow.com/Election2008/Default.aspx?id=152454

Lt. Colonel Bob Maginnis (USA-Ret.) says Obama is misinformed about the strategic situation. “Is he suggesting we unilaterally disarm?” he wonders. “[That’s] incredibly naïve. And then he suggests [that he would] ‘negotiate with Russia to take our ICBMs off hair-trigger alert.’ Well, guess what? They’re not on hair-trigger alert — and they haven’t been for a long time.”

Maginnis says it is evident to him that Obama’s foreign policy comments are “made by a knee-jerk, liberal academic who really doesn’t understand the threats that this nation faces.”

I stood up and said I would rather lose a campaign than lose a war.

McCain is well on his way to accomplishing just that even with the "war" won by Bush and Petraeus, so I guess he has that going for him. Liberally Lame, like his campaign.

wowzie!! and that is as tough as McCain gets? Just when is our candidate going to take off the gloves and mock Obama, as he deserves to be mocked?

He needs to say things like: Mr Obama has NO RIGHT to negotiate terms with Iraq. He is not Commander in Chief. this young man is arrogant. Do you folks see how arrogant he is.. Well here is how:..........

why doesn’t he say what we are all thinking? instead he says “this campaign has been fun”..

McCain needs to get mad.. He needs to show his temper, not hide it. He needs to get righteously mad at Obama and at the Media for unfair treatment. He needs to explode. He might as well go down fighting like an old soldier... like the proud old lion that is John McCain.

he has been acting like a fuddly old uncle. old and tired.

show us some b*lls Mr McCain. FIGHT BACK !!

He doesn't need to lose his temper to aggressively engage Obama.

He can however cause Obama to lose his.

And that will be fun to watch. He doesn't think well when someone dares to challenge him. McCain will carve up Obama like a Thanksgiving turkey in the debates.
