A Not Very Modest Proposal for the Obama Rally in Berlin (Vanity)

FReepers are brilliant. So I have an immodest proposal for you all that could work a major coup in knocking Obama off his horse in the upcoming rally at the Victory Column in Berlin.

Imagine the scene: Thousands of people, probably a lot of young, mushheaded lefties, probably a lot of swooning. Obama is introduced. The crowd roars. He waves in appreciation, grinning broadly. After a respectable few moments of basking in the adulation, he motions for the crowd to settle down to hear his prophetic words. He begins to speak, warming to a theme of kumbaya fuzzy warm one worldness. The crowd is mesmerized. The eyes of the world watch him as the speech goes out on global satellite uplink to the billions of masses.

About five minutes into the speech, when the crowd is settled in and drinking the koolaid, a whistle is heard blowing three distinct staccato notes. At this signal, hundreds of right minded people who have blended into the crowd unfurl small green flags with the star and crescent symbol of Islam and they gently sway them back and forth so that the symbol can easily be seen and are well distributed throughout the crowd so there is no way to film without picking up clusters of the flags. None of the flag wavers say anything or make any agitated motions. Just a quiet demonstration.

Now, if any of them are asked, they refuse to give their names and simply say they are there to show solidarity with their hero, their moslem brother and to express appreciation for Obama's support for the cause of Islam.

I think it would finish his campaign. So I ask you brilliant FReepers: is there any possible way to get this to happen? Does anyone have contacts? I know this is crazy, but imagine the effect on Americans when Obama goes over their to establish his foreign policy credentials and is greeted as a hero to moslems? The logistics are relatively simple: the flags are small, easily hidden under light clothing. They are not in any way so provocative as to spark anything nasty. But the message, which is largely the image projected everywhere, would be devastating. Have I got hold of bad liquor or does anyone think this is a good idea?

You forget that the Viacommies at Viacomm (parent company to CBS, MTV, and VH1 as well as Simon & Scheuster) OVERDUBBED the NYPD and NYFD men who BOOED Hillary Clinton at the NYC Concert for 9/11 given in honor to men who served that day and the men who gave their lives in service fighting the chaos.

Viacom overdubbed those mens’ boos (heard and recorded on the original broadcast) with phony cheers. This was rebroadcast on several networks and subsequently released to DVD in the bogus form.

Of course Viacom had to protect their investment in Mrs. Bill Clinton, after all they gave her a multimillion dollar advance between the time she was elected and the time she was sworn in (just a few months so as to avoid Congressional ethics charges).

That’s why I think the visual would be better. Obama picked the site for a great visual: a large open plaza, full of history, a huge throng and a ban on posters. With hundreds of people scattered through the crowd the visual is killed.

I think your idea is brilliant. However, given that peace-loving leftists are prone to express their displeasure with violence, I’m not sure how wise this would be. Not to mention that there will probably be some Nation of Islam thugs in the crowd.

I can’t believe Obama is going to leave Israel and the Holy Land without speaking from the spot believed to be the location of the Sermon on the Mount.

You know, if I had the money, I would have tried to ship over the guys who give coverage to the funerals from those lunatics and the GOE folks, maybe put out a call to military personell who have leave and can come without uniform, so they wouldn’t have to worry about the weenies.

He should have gone to the Dome of the Rock, as he is named after Borock (or Burock, depending on translators spelling from the Arabic) the flying horse that delivered Mohamed from that rock, up to Heaven. I am not making this up. I lived and worked in Israel and when Barry first came forward, I thought his name sounded familiar. It sure did ring a bell from my tours of the Temple Mount.
I couldn't understand why everyone was up in arms about “Hussein”, when the first name is the real mind bender.

I have a somewhat analogous idea for Mile High Stadium when the Messiah gives his acceptance speech. I don’t know how they plan to vet the 50,000 extra people, except, if your face is black then there is a 95% chance you are an Obama supporter. But, if they have any reasonably open method of allowing attendance, then go to Mile High and when Obama speaks stand up and turn your back to him like the VFW did to John Fraud.

“I couldn’t understand why everyone was up in arms about “Hussein”, when the first name is the real mind bender.”

Probably because far more Americans had heard of Saddam Hussein than Barack (sp?) the horse. And our media certainly wasn’t/isn’t going to educate the public on this detail.

But the name of Mohammed’s horse would have been much more controversial if more Americans known that story. I suggested the location of the Sermon on the Mount because Obama is avoiding all associations with Islam on this trip, and going to some extremes to avoid any unwanted signs or backdrops to his main speech in Germany.

I still like my idea of a bunch of people dressing up in head to toe burkas and going to his speeches. Even men could do it (as long as they weren’t too tall). Just get in your burka where all anyone can see is your eyes, and at every opportunity, in front of every camera, during every break in his speech, give that Islamic “cheer” or call to war, or whatever the heck that high pitched squealing is that muslim women do when they’re excited. Have our own people videotape it, and post it all over the internet.

"Now, if any of them are asked, they refuse to give their names and simply say they are there to show solidarity with their hero,..."

One "slight" problem! You just announced this plan on an open forum for anyone to find out where this idea originated from.

I realize that. I simply thought it doesn't matter because of the minute chance that it will happen. Also, it doesn't really matter either way, because once the image is captured, the entire "glow" of the event is tarnished immutably.
