The Daily Yomiuri is reporting the Shinkansen between Morioka and Akita has been halted until a safety inspection can be completed. There are also 88 injuries reported. I have a daughter in the Tokyo area as well and trust this means she is OK.

I’m fairly certain that a quake that far away and that deep of that magnitude would not cause damage in Tokyo.

However, there are several prophetic sources that have said that a major quake of major magnitude is going to hit Japan not long before a super devastating quake hits the San Francisco Bay area.

We shall see what that may mean.
