It must also be an insult to other people of colour whether it be black, Indian/Asian etc who are successful American business people who obviously travel worldwide in their career. How must it make them feel that they are not really American or going about the work of an American citizen.

The man is a creep and will say anything to anyone to curry favour no doubt this morning he has been sucking up to Brown, then will modify he story when talking to Cameron and probably change again when speaking to Blair. The man is a dangerous phony.

Hello my FRiend I hope the new job is going well and you are keeping well.

My friend at work has recently got 2 new kittens and she is having great fun with them. They go upstairs by walking up the banister rail.

Yours is a great tagline as well and how true. Sometimes I feel that adults no longer behave like adults. We expect teens and early 20s to see the world and things in a very black and white viewpoint but as one matures we realise that there is an awful lot of grey.

It may not be right but that this is how it is and we learn to co-operative and work with someone while hopefully not compromising our views but this is what adults do. Through this we can easily see who is for us and and who is against us and minor differences ironed out we see the whole picture not just the narrow blinkered view that we may have as a youngster.

Often though so many people are not willing to move on from their childhood/adolescent and behave like adults or maybe feel it is politically expedient not to so in public.

Yet on the flip side you have others that are willing to concede all their principles and compromise all. As I said earlier about how men can no longer talk to babies and children in the street we live in a strange twisted world.

I am glad there was not though we might have wished there were and would have been respectful unfortunately there are others who would not and would not have resected their privacy.

Indeed. It is so noticeable that whenever people meet him in person how warm and genuine the greeting is.

Even with people who may not agree politically there often seems a connection and you can see his genuine liking and love of his fellow human being shining through.

The media would be relentless though because they know having a black on the other ticket would counter the retorect coming from BO and that would not be allowed.

She would be attacked unmercifully and no doubt daily linked to the oil and big business.

Yes it would in ways be a dream ticket and a way to fight BO but I think it is something that she does not want to put herself through. It would be similar to some of those awful congressional hearings/committees she has had to attend with the press being relentless.

Who can blame her she has done her service to the country well and in a dignified manner and I can appreciate her wanting to now go back either to the business world or academia after no doubt a period of well deserved rest. The extensive traveling she has undertaken must have taken a toll on her body and may well be another reason why she would not want to jump straight into another campaign and yet further travel duties and public appearances.

Also many conservative thinking people refuse to take part in them seeing it as an intrusion in their private lives so immediately the figures are propositions are skewed.

I can remember as a child for some social studies lesson it asked very person questions about my family's income, background etc for some study we were doing in class. My father refused to answer the questions citing recommendations by the Conservative Party that we have every right to refuse to take part in this sort of survey and that the school could not penalize the student because of it.

Lets be honest how would you tell if the person being asked is informed enough to make that judgement.

It is an emotional subjective viewpoint and has no real meaning or merit in an adult world and as I said earlier many conservative thinking people would refuse to take part anyway if they were asked in the first place.

These pictures are some of the best I’ve ever seen~~this President of ours can’t be beat by anyone! He’s a natural and he is sincere about everything he does. No phoniness with this man.

One of these days he will have a grandbaby of his own and I can just imagine how proud he will be. He truly loves babies!

Thank you, Jonny, for all of these! Condi is great always. The President is lucky to have someone as faithful as she has been to him. They will certainly miss each other! And I am already missing these “fine people”.

Snowflakes, the Snow family was on board Air Force One with President Bush!!!!

It doesn't surprise me a bit that GWB would be thinking of them and doing something for them. How wonderful to hear about it. Thank you so much, GC!

Rush Limbaugh calls him a con artist. He is really really skilled at acting. However, when Ronald Reagan was our President, the media excoriated him for being “just an actor.”

Reagan was a two-term governor of California and a commentator on conservative issues with a LONG paper trail.

Obama is an empty suit, with two “biographical” novels as his paper trail, — no political commentary whatsoever.

I’m leaving the photo of the day up on my screen while I go to work so that when my daughter wakes up, it’ll be the first thing she sees when she jumps online :)

Thanks for brightening my day. That photo was just what the doctor ordered....Love it !
