Thank you for posting this!
You can call those who made it ashore anywhere else in the world the most fortunate Cubans.
I grew up in Miami, Florida and my best friends were some of the lucky ones to escape from Cuba. Their father was a Dr and told of horror stories of what happened there and how many of his friends were beaten,imprisoned and killed.
Maybe that is why even as a young girl, I understood how great this Country is, and how precious FREEDOM is.
To see this great Country going down this path, with the ENEMEDIA and too large a percentage of Americans encouraging it to happen...
It's more than I can bear...

I seem to recall a very charismatic and articulate fellow by the name of Schickelgruber who took Germany by storm -- literally -- back in the late 1930s.
And, of course, speaking of Fidel, the not so funny joke at the time was that he got HIS job through the New York Slimes -- er -- TIMES. Looks like BO might do likewise.
