He’s been identified. Jim D. Adkisson, 58, of Powell.
As well, a second victim has just died.

My brother (sadly a Unitarian) goes to the church...he thought it was because they recently proclaimed they were gay-friendly. (I think that’s probably projection over how self-important they are.) We’ll see.

Its a little surprising to find that a Unitarian Universalist church had anybody attending who would stand up to a gunman Its a little surprising to find that a Unitarian Universalist church had anything strong enough to say that would offend anyone.

Is that the one on Kingston Pike? If so, I went there as a kid.

That’s scary..
A big church in Knoxville was burnt down a few years ago by white supremists...

Another victim, this time a woman, has died of her wounds. God rest her soul.
How could anyone do such a thing?

A small one was burned in Oak Ridge on December 31, 2004. That was my church.
