Interesting the National media is putting out this crap that this guy divorced 5 times, wasn't a Christian himself, turns out his last ex-wife was a member of the church in the past. I bet you didn't know that.

KNOXVILLE (WATE) -- An ex-wife of the suspect in the deadly shooting at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church was once a church member.

Jim D. Adkisson, 58, has been divorced five times. According to congregation President Ted Jones, one of his ex-wives was a member about a decade ago.

That ex-wife is Liza Alexander, of Powell, according to one of her friends who called the 6 Newsroom.

Church members say the ex-wife hadn't been active in the church in years and it's not clear if Adkisson ever attended.

Anderson County court documents show Alexander was Adkisson's fifth ex-wife and filed an order of protection against him in March 2000.

In that filing, she said Adkisson threatened to blow her head off and then his.

Court records also show Alexander claimed Adkisson drank heavily every day, became belligerent and made threats against her on previous occasions. Their marriage ended in June 2000.

Alexander couldn't be reached for comment on Monday.

6 News also spoke with some of Adkisson's family members off-camera Monday. They say they're saddened by the tragedy.

Some Conservative, 5th wife and didn't have a job. Sounds like a lib to me. Interesting the National media is putting out this crap that this guy divorced 5 times, wasn't a Christian himself, turns out his last ex-wife was a member of the church in the past. I bet you didn't know that.

Actually I did know that his wife was a former member and that he had an axe to grind with Christians.

Thank you for posting the truth on this story.

The raw sewage spewing out of the MSM would otherwise convince me that the shooter was a "conservative Christian who lashed out at a liberal society."

I am surprised that the deceitful MSM b@stards didn't try to connect Talk Radio to the shooting.

MSM = Scumbags

I didn’t know about the ex-wife until a FReeper mentioned it on another thread tonight. Apparently, this guy has been having “problems” for a long time, and there’s more to the story that has nothing to do with politics.

“I am surprised that the deceitful MSM b@stards didn’t try to connect Talk Radio to the shooting. “

I was listening to Sean Hannity today and a guy called and asked Sean what did he think about the shooter who had his book.
Sean knew the guy was a lib and asked the guy to point to anything he has ever said or written that would encourage such a thing. The guy was gone- hungup.

I’m sure the MSM is still working on that story about how the green movement inspired the unabomber.

Never let facts get in the way of liberal propagandizing and smears against Conservatives.

How did the lib know that the shooter had Hannity’s book?

You missed the well-publicized story that books by Hannity and O'Reilly were found in his home?

MSM has no shame.

It was in the press. They mentioned he had O'Reilly's, too ...

He probably had 200 books, but those were the ones they chose to report.

The MSM has been reporting the shooter HAD BOOKS at his house!
Whose books?
Hannity! Savage! O’Reilly!

Not very subtle are they?

Wow, I had no idea.

The democrats are really getting nastier by the day, aren't they?

Men like Rush and Sean are diamonds in the rough.

The MSM and other nasty democrats will do anything they can to destroy the integrity of such men.

PS... Interesting point about the Unabomber. I saw the special on National Geographic last night, and Ted Kazinski's (SP?) hatred of technological advances is what motivated his terrorism. It was indeed the "Green" ideology that motivated his anarcho-terrorist mentality.

Earth Liberation Front (ELF) is a violent terrorist organization whose members all remind me of the Unabomber.

Their shared ideology is hellbent on the destruction of mankind's technological advances.

Yup, the MSM folks are angry that Rush and Sean have a combined audience that outnumbers some of their own audiences.

As a result of their anger and jealousy, the deceivers in the MSM will stop at nothing to destroy the integrity of good men like Sean and Rush.

What's really sad? That idiot O'Reilly falsely accused Free Republic of being a lunatic fringe site and all this BS. If only that loser would realize that his "moderate" tone doesn't carry any water with informed Americans.

It was O'Reilly's recent praising of Obama that really angered me the most. He seems to whitewash all the nastiness in Camp Obama in favor of generalizations and other BS.

All of a sudden, O'Reilly's pals in the MSM try to connect him with the church shooter?

I wonder if that bloviating idiot will ever wake up to the fact that he cannot attack informed Americans while subsequently praising Obama.

We are much smarter than the Gasbag gives us credit for.

However, his pals in the media have thrown him under the bus.

200 books? Wow, that's a !@#$%$# library!

Interesting that they don't tell us what reading material was preferred by the killer of the Bolonga father and sons, the perps in the Witchita Massacre, the murderers of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom or the jihadi student from Dearborn.

Thanks

You guys are being way to defensive about this.

There is such a thing as a conservative, or right winger, who isnt relgious.

This guy sounds like someone who’s life fell apart, and he went looking for scapegoats. It was christians fault, it was liberals fault, it was the social workers fault, it was ... and on and on.

“The democrats are really getting nastier by the day, aren’t they? “

Just when I think they can’t surprise me anymore - they do.

“Their shared ideology is hellbent on the destruction of mankind’s technological advances.”

There’s a freeper whose name escapes me that posts quotes from both the unabombers manifesto and Algore’s environmental book.
He doesn’t tell you which quote comes from which source - you’re supposed to guess.
Hilarious.

Interesting you would mention the jihadi student.
Didn’t the msm go out of their way NOT to report what that kid had been reading?

I have The Communist Manifesto on my bookshelf, too... lol. I had to read it and write a report on it in college. Now I use it to compare it to the Democrat party platform.

But, I wonder if The Communist Manifesto would be reported by the news media if a criminal owned it. If they did report it, they’d probably make him into a hero.
