Some think a President Obama will help America by reinvigorating conservatism. They're playing with fire.

Yes I agree. I have yet again flipped and decided to vote for McCain. It’s really not as much a vote for McCain than a vote against Obama (it’s the only way I can stomach it). As bad as McCain could be it can’t hold a candle to the travshamockery of an Obama presidency.

Great post and words of reality.
I have posted so many times, that there will be no next time if Obama is elected.
The various forms of weapons now did not exist 10 or 20 years ago.
The enemy that exists now thinks nothing of piloting jet airliners into high rise and government bldgs. killing 3,000 in one day.
Would anyone believe this would happen 15 or 25 years ago.
There is no starting over this time if Obama is elected.

Dear Osama Bin Ladin,
Just to give You a well earned progress report on my progress in ursurping The Presidency of The United States.
First, Thank you millions, for the Hundreds of Millions of Dollars You have so generously raised and contributed to my Campaign thru your diverse “Religious Organizations.” I never thought we could get away with it, but these people are such stupid, bitter, ignorant fools that I am able to con the scum with any propaganda I wish. Most of them even go to church, carry rifles and drive Red Pickups, how disgusting! As to your fit within my Administration, Binny, I am thinking You will make a Great Secretary of Defense, but if You want STATE its all yours. I guarantee We are going to make a Great 58th Caliphate!!
Yours for the Revolution,
Obie XXOOXX

Those who say that Obama is like Jimmy Carter and will help usher in another Reagan forget that not even Reagan was able to fix all of Carter’s massive screwups - not Iran, not the Panama Canal, not the erosion of US intelligence capabilities, not the propping up of violent leftists in Latin America & Africa & Asia. And Carter never got a chance to appoint Supreme Court justices. The next president will appoint 1-3 justices.
Obama is Carter squared...
To infinity...
Plus shipping & handling.

“Wow, unbelievable - guess some people just cant, or refuse to, comprehend the dire but absolute truths in what the original article writer stated so very accurately”
True.
You don’t want to give Obama a shot at bat.
He could just connect and hit a homer (for HIS side, that is).

He’d certainly have LOTS of help - all from our enemies, both foreign and domestic, who hate this country and all it stands for.

We would be picked over and fought over by the hyenas who are waiting.
Then, we have the NEW Old Soviet Union, China, and all the Muslim states.
It cannot come to that. The war is here and now.
Agreed, that's why I'm voting for McCain, he might have his faults but at least he understands that we do need a good defense and will fight the war on terror.

I believe in Time TravelI have met the Mullet Man who has traveled to the future (or so he says) and its a grim fascist sort of place. I have no doubt its the sort of USSR kind of America Obama would have us live in. Time travel or notthe risk is just too great to elect old Big Ears.
Well, even Titor says that the future can be changed and you can hop from one timeline to another. Still, I don't have that ability so I have to do my best to help McCain get in and keep Obama out.

The next Obama will begat the next Reagan? Childish thinking on its face.
Reagan had been running for president since 1968. He just did not pop out of the air.
I think Reagan had Presidential ambitions since 1966 when he became Governor of California, maybe before that with the 1964 Republican Convention. So from that time to 1976 when he really became a serious contender but it was like 10/12 and when he finally won, 14/16 years. I guess it takes a while to build it up although one can come out of nowhere (not the "nowhere" I come from B-)) much like Carter, Clinton to an extent and Obama-Osama-lama-ding-dong. If you came to me in 1984 or even 2000/2004 and said Obama would be the President, I'd laugh you all the way to the funny farm. B-P

I believe that her point is the "win by losing" idea will not work as the left will use an Obamination election as a method to lock up their socialist agenda. They will stack the court and establish rights by judicial decree. These will be positive rights such as the right to health care, a job, a house, etc. Once the court decrees these rights, just like Roe vs Wade, there is no turning back.
So even if we do elect another Reagan, it will be too late. The point is a good one.
I know with the Supreme Court, we had a major victory with the 2nd Amendment, even though by one vote, but a victory is a victory. We could be close to overturning Roe vs. Wade. The Supreme Court is my #1 issue, a lot of the Justices are getting old, one of them has been there since I was a kid, others when I was in college. I'm 42 now. So we are in a shaky position.

Even with the present makeup of the court, the risk is very high that a “Roe v Wade” ruling for “Health Care as a right” is still very possible. We need 6-7 Constitutional judges to insure this does not happen.
The author of the article is right on, if these “rights” are established by judicial fiat, then they will exist infinitum. A showdown between the Judicial and Legislative branch would then be possible, but how many Congressman will have the fortitude to take Health Care away from the poor?
