A 40-year-old man believed to be from outside Manitoba was arrested early Thursday morning and remains in RCMP custody. Charges have not yet been laid, and the suspect has not yet been interviewed, said RCMP spokesman Staff Sgt. Steve Colwell, adding that he could release no further information on the investigation.
RCMP declined to identify either the suspect or the victim.

Hard to believe that no one at least tried to intervene while he was busy killing this man. Sounds like they had plenty of time to do something.
Definition: Aboriginal encompasses Indian, Inuit and Métis people living in Canada.

As of 4:15 p.m. today, when the article was published, the perp hadn't even been questioned or charged. He's probably tranquilized in some psych unit. God forbid they should violate his rights.
