McCain spokesman Michael Goldfarb just sent out this statement, attacking the Times as hysterically pro-Obama:
"If the shareholders of the New York Times ever wonder why the paper's ad revenue is plummeting and its share price tanking, they need look no further than the hysterical reaction of the paper's editors to any slight, real or imagined, against their preferred candidate. This campaign has never engaged in 'racially tinged attacks,' and the Obama campaign conceded as much yesterday in a statement clarifying that "Barack Obama in no way believes that the McCain campaign is using race as an issue."
That the Times made this allegation in a blog post rather than running it on the editorial page indicates that they either knew the charge was bogus or they didn't have the nerve to make their case in full view of the public. But in their new role as bloggers, the paper's editors seem to have all the intelligence and reason of the average Daily Kos diarist sitting at home in his mother's basement and ranting into the ether between games of dungeons and dragons. They also have about as much care for the facts--the "board" has already been forced to append a correction."

lol.
that’s really not fair because people read the Daily KOS, LOL
Attacking the New York Times, is he? What is this, the banana he’s throwing to conservatives? Please. The NYT found someone it likes better, big surprise. I’ll vote for McCain, but in this, he’s just acting like a jilted lover.
KOmmies are FUnnier.
“....the paper’s editors seem to have all the intelligence and reason of the average Daily Kos diarist sitting at home in his mother’s basement and ranting into the ether between games of dungeons and dragons....”
The moonbats are gonna go nuts over that line! This is going to be a fun election. McCain is definitely NOT my choice, but he is the nominee and should have the support of all conservatives. Hold your nose and VOTE! The future depends on McCain winning the Whitehouse.
I believe that the dems will fix things to make it impossible for Republicans to EVER have true power again if they succeed in putting the ‘One’ in office.
Is it just me, or did the McCain campaign wake up this week?
My respect for the McCain Campaign grows daily.
Never got to war with a man who buys ink by the barrel.....unless you have web servers by the warehouse full.
They started reading FReerepublic!
His campaign may be making the claim that nothing racist is going on but they sure are keeping racism at a parboil. That whole explanation of “I don’t look like the other presidents on the [dollar] bills” is baiting.
Barry would love to make this about race, then he’d play the victim role. Then he’d feel justified in going on the attack which is what abusive people do when they’re pushed into the “victim corner.”
Got that from Jane. She’s the mental health counselor in the house and did her master’s practicum working with domestic violence victims. And yes, you can believe that some of the victims were male.
They needed to sit tight, save their money and ramp it up after Obama peaked.
Which he did last week. Now McCain engages right thru Nov.
I think so.
Fer sure! I saw the Paris/Brittany ad and thought it was rather lame until BHO over-reacted to it and gave it traction.
His game plan appears to be pushing Obama's buttons until he flips out, and then push some more.
McCain wasn’t my first, second, third, or fourth choice, but I’m voting for him, too. And the more I see of Obambi, the more I realize what a disaster he’d be for us, which makes voting for McCain a little more palatable.
I tell ya...... McCain seems to have come out of his hibernation...... oh sorry..... this is the work of his new campaign head. The student of Karl Rove.
I agree with you complete. We already slipped way too far toward socialism and if the Dems get the White House, there will be an infestation of scoundrels the likes of which we haven’t seen for a while. The damage they could do our American way of life is really scary.
I, for one, am glad McCain has started getting out there.
He can out-debate Barry any day. And having stared mortality square in the eye, he knows how to survive too.
We’re voting for him and we don’t have to hold our noses to do it either.
And we have kids and grandkids who agree with us, so it isn’t just us two votes. By the time we bring our friends and relatives to the presidential candidacy debate, we bring a little village to the polls. And we all go vote.
Election night at our house is more fun than a super bowl party. Everybody gets excited!
Exactly. The only way for a Republican to get any coverage in the media is to push BHO’s or his media shill’s buttons and get a reaction. Keep it up, John!
Is he actually growing some? I mean growing some with respect to liberals. He’s always had a big pair when it comes to conservatives.
FINALLY!!! Wow, I am impressed, this is fabulous. And the way McCain responds to the dumb reporters is mind-boggling. I am beginning to feel hopeful. Has anyone seen the newest ad up on Drudge? Hysterically funny and out-of-this-world wonderful.
