Actual news footage of Barack Obama stating he will NOT run for national office in 2008 because HE LACKS EXPERIENCE... he hasn't even completed 1 term as an Illinois Senator. But now he has decided (and is trying to convince America) that he is qualified to be "king of the world" (President of the world's leading superpower nation).

I have come to the conclusion that Barack Obama did not plan to win the Democrat nomination in 2008. I think he wanted to make a strong showing in order to position himself for 2012 or 2016. At the absolute outside, perhaps he wanted to get picked for VEEP. That way he could bide his time and run as a stronger contender, either against the Republican incumbent in 2012 or to be Hillary Clinton’s replacement in 2016.
In January 2016, he will still be in his mid-50s, which is plenty young to be President. If he had actually spent 8 years as VEEP, he would be an absolute shoo-in.
But then Hillary had to screw it all up by falling apart after Super Tuesday and those obnoxious Obamaniacs had to go out and vote for him, over and over again. So here he is with the nomination in hand, and no way to win the General Election.
But this is now-or-never time for Barack. If he doesn’t win here, he will be a historical footnote by next Spring. So he is going to give it his best shot.
