War on AIDS will be long, more funds needed: UN 14 hours ago

MEXICO CITY (AFP) — A global conference on AIDS was to get down to business on Monday after hearing that victory against the disease lay beyond the farthest horizon and endangered lives could only be saved with inflows of money...

If you would like to be added to the RETHINKING AIDS PING LIST drop me a FReepmail.

AIDS is the biggest public health scam in medical history. Like global warming, AIDS is being used to push a powerful leftist political agenda. For over two decades the Public Health Establishment has used your tax dollars and the full power of the federal government to wage a massive propaganda (and intimidation) campaign designed to (A) dupe the American public into believing that HIV is the cause of AIDS (B) scare the public into thinking "we are all at risk" (C) coverup the extreme toxicity of AIDS chemotherapy drugs (which are not just used on "fast-track" gays and junkies, but also given to pregnant mothers, infants, and children) (D) use this fear to push a leftist social agenda that includes socialized medicine, and the promotion of homosexuality and explicit sex "education" to tender-aged school children (E) use their "public health mandate" to bypass the authority of parents and local school boards who object to their social engineering schemes (F) create a massive federal bureaucracy encouraging the use of addictive drugs, to include prescription heroine (G) use threats and intimidation to silence dissenting scientists and to keep the press from covering the debate (H) and finally, to use AIDS as a model to push similar social agendas with respect to future epidemics.

Every single point above can be documented on my profile page.

Of course more money is needed. It’s always the solution to mankind’s woes.

How about using some funds to actually test people for AIDS?

Actually, I think they are trying to compensate for this:

Apparently “Kevin de Cock” failed to get the memo that under no circumstances is he to let the cat out of the bag:

there’s not much enthusiasm on my part to increase AIDS funding....I’d rather see it go to cancer or heart research.

I’d rather it went to a lot of things instead of the endless pit of aids research. Saying AIDS is not caused by HIV seems a stretch though.

funding the 'war on aids" only prolongs the AIDS epidemic.

The "cure" for aids is time, improvement in behavior and natural selection. The immoral will eventually die out. Of course there are innocent victims of these immoral people, but those will become fewer as well as society's moral behavior improves. We already know how to protect ourselves, and those that take every precaution will survive.

Lets see, 1/10 of the population in Africa has been dying for how many years now? 10?
Shouldn’t they all be dead? How come the population of Africa is now over 730,000,000 million people, up from 630 ten years ago?
Something isn’t adding up- UN estimates perhaps?

War on AIDS?

What are we going to do? Shoot all the gays?

I suppose that would be the most effective curb on spreading it..

Hmm, I wonder what the incidence of AIDS is in Iran?

Bullets are very cheap.

Aids goes unreported in Iran. Some estimates suggest it is very high, due no doubt to the excessive bum blasting going on in the Madarassa's by those oh so 'moral' Imam's.

“endangered lives could only be saved with inflows of money”

Road apples. Those endangered lives could be saved by up-pullings of zippers. Oh, and not-usings of needles.

Until the people with an agenda that are HIV positive hunt you down and infect you. No, I would not put it past them.

The War on AIDS has gone on long enough. Bush lied, people died. It’s time to pull out now!

“What are we going to do? Shoot all the gays?”

Well, how about if we implement standard epidemiological practices? You know, quarantine of carriers, mandatory testing, reporting of people put at risk by carriers, etc.

I’m going to apply the left’s logic on drilling in ANWR to the AIDS debate:

“The experts say that the cure for aids is at least 10 years away-because of that it’s not worth pursuing”

How’s that.
