“With whom? The opposition has left town”.

Exactly. That’s why this is not an insurrection.

Looks like Mike Pence is the ring-leader. Damn, it is nice to see someone actually taking a leadership role for once.

I wish I were in Barrett’s district. I had the pleasure of meeting him and Steve King at a gathering for Fred Thompson several months ago. They are great guys. Unfortunately, I am in Bob Inglis’ district and am growing more and more disgruntled with his global warming/energy policy.

By the way, Bob Inglis is on vacation.

Why won’t Nancy allow up and down votes on issues such as energy and drilling, when she herself has said these are big issues?

Well, gee whiz...she's busy trying to save the planet, dontcha know.

If it grows to be large, the Senate might be shamed into coming in as well.

You said 'Senate' and 'shamed into doing something' in the same sentence? I appreciate the sentiment, but since 1998 I have given up any hope of our Senate acting in any manner that would reflect what we used to know as shame.

I hope your positiveness will help bring me back from the edge.

Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA)

When it’s time to stand up, Hunter is always there.

My Rep, Terry Everett, isn’t on the list, but i will give him a pass based on how he just ripped the blue dog trying to win the seat he is vacating.
