Saudi Arabia to Deport 15 Christians

The Washington-DC based human rights group, International Christian Concern (ICC) www.persecution.org has learned that Saudi Arabia is deporting 15 Christians on Tuesday, August 5th, for holding private worship meetings in a house in the city of Taif.

On Friday, April 25, twelve Saudi Arabian police raided a house where 16 Christians were holding a prayer meeting. The first officer to enter the house after breaking down the main gate pointed a pistol at the Christians and ordered them to hand over their resident permits and mobile phones. The other 11 police followed quickly and started searching the entire house. They confiscated an electronic drum set, an offering box with 500 Saudi Riyal in it ($130), 20 bibles, and a few Christian books.

The police initially accused the Christians of preaching the Bible and singing. They later changed the charge to holding a "dance party" and collecting money to support terrorism.

The article never says where they immigrated from; wherever it was, it must have been an awful place if moving to Saudi Arabia was their best option.

The article doesn’t say, but in general westerners are left alone and allowed to worship as long as they keep it low profile.

“Easterners”, on the other hand, which is to say non-westerners typically have no rights at all in Saudi Arabia. Philippino worship gatherings are routinely raided. The worshipers are sometimes sentenced to death, forcing the Philippine ambassador to go before the Saudi government to beg for their lives. Their lives are usually spared, upon which time they are either deported, or sometimes jailed for a couple of years and then deported.

If there are any muslims at your worship service, its big trouble, for them and for you.

Perhaps we should pull ALL Christians out of Saudi Arabia. Including our troops. (Non-Christian military personnel can elect to remain, if they want.)

And let the Saudi "princes" live with the results.

Our very good friends the Saudis deport people for praying while the sob sisters in our country get all weepy when we try to stop repeat sex offenders from entering ours.

Someone please tell me what's wrong with this picture.

Did the last comet come a little too close and make everything topsy-turvy?

I agree, something is very wrong here on earth and it’s not GW.

Endtime.com —politics and religion... what a pair!

PS I am not a bible thumper. Don’t go to church. Not even baptized, but seriously thinking about it.

Let’s deport some muslims since they think that sort of thing is OK.
