We gotta start wiping out the mexican troops that are crossing our border. Enough of this crap. This is serious. Another country’s friggin ARMY, armed, is coming into our country, shotting at our agents, holding them at gunpoint.

Given all this it would be silly to expect those in control to do anything with the Border Patrol except what they are doing: understaff them, make them sitting ducks, prosecute our own agents when they do their job (Ramos and Compean), avoid building the fence and anthing else they can come up with to thwart the mission.
