A U.S. Border Patrol agent was held at gunpoint Sunday night by members of the Mexican military who had crossed the border into Arizona, but the soldiers returned to Mexico without incident when backup agents responded to assist.
Agents assigned to the Border Patrol station at Ajo, Ariz., said the Mexican soldiers crossed the international border in an isolated area about 100 miles southwest of Tucson and pointed rifles at the agent, who was not identified.

I agree - and with back pay and compensation.
Bush is not about to do anything when it involves the invasion of this country or protecting our borders.
Ah. You miss the point. The domestic enemies are much more powerful than the foreign ones. They have created this situation and continue to foster it. Despite the overwhelming majority of Americans wanting a stop to illegals they keep coming.
Liberal judges, RINO senators, big corporations and their diversity rules, the elites have made their decision. A white America can not be, we must be deluted into a wonderful 'rainbow', 'mosaic' or 'tapestry'.
Meanwhile the invaders become ever more bold. The leading candidates from both parties go to meet with the shameless influence group for the invaders: La Raza (the race).
Given all this it would be silly to expect those in control to do anything with the Border Patrol except what they are doing: understaff them, make them sitting ducks, prosecute our own agents when they do their job (Ramos and Compean), avoid building the fence and anthing else they can come up with to thwart the mission.

Let me clarify it.
You need a President in the White House who would go to war with a foreign power conspiring to violate our borders, insert parasitic members of its own nation into our economy to drain our wealth, steal our jobs, import drugs and contaminated food across our borders, conspire to replace our language with its own, plot to “liberate” our American Southwest, and afflict us with its murderers and rapists.

Did Patton serve under Pershing in that campaign?

No maybe about it Cartman. More US citizens have died at the hands of illegal aliens every year than have died in Iraq. Mexico has passed Iraq for dead journalists, IIRC and is second only to Iraq for beheadings. Mexico is probably ahead of Iraq for US citizen kidnappings. My local sheriff has found ‘retired’ Mexican military in the Siskiyou Mountains of California growing dope.

Patton’s first real exposure to battle occurred when he served as a member of legendary General John J. Pershing’s staff during the expedition to Mexico. In 1915, Patton was sent to Fort Bliss along the Mexican border where he led routine cavalry patrols. A year later, he accompanied Pershing as an aide on his expedition against Francisco “Pancho” Villa into Mexico. Patton gained recognition from the press for his attacks on several of Villa’s men.
IIRC, what gained Patton his recognition was the fact that they had stopped at a villa looking for supplies and information on Pancho when they were ambushed. Patton did not carry the normal arms for an officer of that era. He had an affinity for the Colt Peacemaker, a single action only Colt .45 weapon IIRC, which he used, standing his ground like cowboy legends of the previous 40 years. They also couldn’t use the normal transport for much of the expedition, instead, using horses.
These drug cartels have been using the Mexican Army as armed escort for many years now. They do this to protect the drug shipment.
In past, if the drug smuggler encountered the Border Patrol or other US law enforcement agencies, they would drop their load and run south. Now, however, with the Mexican military as escort, all they do is turn around and drive back to Mexico-—with their drug load. The Mexican military provides rear-guard action to protect the shipment.
What is different in this case, and not really reported, is the Mexican military tried to abduct the Border Patrol Agent, take him back into Mexico.
Why?
Here's my thought on that: Along that area of border are buried and hidden sensors that alert the Border Patrol to the presence of people or vehicles making their way illegally north. The Mexican military wanted to abduct this agent and take him south to extract the location of the sensors. Of course, we all know how they would extract that information and what they would do with the agent after they got that information.
I notice you didn’t list our president on the “domestic enemies” list.
He has done virtually nothing to stop this and a lot to encourage it during his tenure.

Duncan Hunter, a Great American, American hero, and solid conservative Republican who should be running for President instead of John McCain, has NOTHING in common with the present occupant of the White House.
While Hunter supports a strong hand in protecting the integrity of our border wiht Mexico, the present occupant of the White House will spare NOTHING to make the Mexican government happy and thier insidious fifth columnists here happy.
How about this apology:
“Dear Senior Caulderone,
It causes me much grief to inform you that one of your murdering, raping invaders has been executed in Texas.
I hope that we suffer similar grief and send similar apologies to you every time anyone with identical credentials from your rotten flea-bitten third world rathole is apprehended in America raping and murdering our children.

You try holding a federal agent at gunpoint, you’ll be in jail in a heartbeat.
But if it’s Bush’s Mexican friends, it’s all just a little mistake.
