Border patrol agent held at gunpoint
Washington Times ^ | Wednesday, August 6, 2008 | Jerry Seper

Posted on 08/06/2008 7:59:44 AM PDT by homeguard

A U.S. Border Patrol agent was held at gunpoint Sunday night by members of the Mexican military who had crossed the border into Arizona, but the soldiers returned to Mexico without incident when backup agents responded to assist.

Agents assigned to the Border Patrol station at Ajo, Ariz., said the Mexican soldiers crossed the international border in an isolated area about 100 miles southwest of Tucson and pointed rifles at the agent, who was not identified.

Well at least the agent didn’t shoot the punk in the arse. I mean, THAT would have been bad.

I didn’t realize that one of the two agents, Ramos or Compean’s wife was audited by the IRS over legal fees. The more I hear of that story the more it stinks.

Act of War !!!
It’s time to close the border and begin carpet bombing Mexican military bases. If that doesn’t work then “Shock and Awe” on Mexico City, followed by the annexing of Mexico as a hostile territorial holding of the United States.

Naw. You need a President with guts in the White House for a war.

Jorge El Segundo is a complicent agent in all of this.
Perhaps if McCain gets elected, he will loose his temper with the Mexican goverment and do what needs to be done - put our military along the southern border to interdict illegal invaders and Mexican military personnel. But then maybe he won’t. Probably depends on the phases of the moon.

Obama will do nothing if he gets in.

How did America ever get in such a mess to plagued by Obama, McCain, Bush and Hillary Clinton all at the same time? I think God is punishing us for abandoning Him by giving us idiots as leaders.

Yes!.....and immediately. No questions asked. This is a blatant attack from a foreign country on our soil.

Oh, we depend on their oil, I forgot. Bush must use 3 tubes of chap-stick every day from all the smooching of Mexican butt he does. It’s a wonder he hasn’t injured himself from kissing ass so much. What a worthless RINO president he has been.

You will know the Mexican army is serious about a fight when it arrives with a HUMMVEE with 2 soldiers in it followed by a Mercedes with 4 lawyers in it, and it followed by a live action news truck!

They know they can win that fight.

The Washington Times headline reads ....

Border patrol agent held at gunpoint ... Officers fear Mexican military encounters will turn violent

Using the word "fear" to describe American response, action, lack of action, etc.; is an insult to American people.

My dictionary defines "fear" as ... a feeling of anxiety and agitation caused by the presence or nearness of danger ...

It’s time to round up every illegal Mexican and deport them asap. I don’t care how much it costs. We can borrow more $$ from our Chi-com friends. Then build that damn fence he was supposedly in support of. LIAR!

Duncan Hunter was the man for the presidency, but forces bigger than we sheeple stepped in and we end up with the SUPER-RINO McClame. What a joke our country has become.

WE NEED CONSERVATIVE LEADERSHIP.....NOW. WE ALSO DEMAND THAT THE BORDER AGENTS, RAMOS AND CAMPEAN BE RELEASED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!

It just may be up to the people to step in and straighten our country out before it’s entirely too late.

You said it - "a blatant attack from a foreign country on our soil." I have yet hear Bush taking action.

The biggest threat to this country comes not from Iraq but from amnesty, the open borders, and the hordes of illegal aliens - invaders - roaming the country. The planes on 9/11 did not take off from a foreign country but from American soil.

We gotta start wiping out the mexican troops that are crossing our border. Enough of this crap. This is serious. Another country’s friggin ARMY, armed, is coming into our country, shotting at our agents, holding them at gunpoint.

We gotta start wiping them out when they attempt or do cross our borders. Use our armed UAVs and just take them out. Or use our troops to take them down. Get the guys coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan and use this as a transitioning-down time for them for a few months.

We are such pu$$ies when it comes to Mexico and we just gotta get over it and actually use the federal government for one of the few things it should do constitutionally - DEFEND from ENEMIES foreign and domestic.

Bush has always had a HUGE soft spot for mexicans. I still think someone/some group down there have something on the bush family, they have been so pro-mexican on anything controversial mexican-related. Campeon/Ramos to wit, having a personal friend/attorney against Campeon/Ramos in court defending the US Govt side of things. Forcing Texas to ‘re-look’ at death penalty cases becuase the UN Intl Court says so - even tho Bush dodn’t have the authroity to do it.

Bush is misguided on Mexico (ie wants to help their people, etc) at the very least, or is being blackmailed/hands tied despite knowing they are evil, at the middle, or is in cahoots with ‘em and wants them to be integrated with the USA at some point, at the worst.

The illegals are sending home millions, if not billions, of dollars to their families. That right there should be enough reason to envade Mexico and recapture the wealth that has been stolen from us. I’m sure this contributes to the small recession we are in right now.

Why should the Mexicans be concerned about a bit of action on the border. The Mexicans have us over a barrel. We won't get in a military confrontation with them.

If we went to war with them, they have over 15 million Mexican nationals already here in this country as a 5th column. The sabotage and guerrilla warfare they could unleash would be bloody. They already have 10's of thousands of shock troops existing in their paramilitary gangs spread throughout America and they have constantly demonstrated killing Gringos is not a problem.

Just imagine the coverage on CNN if this situation was reversed. We’d never hear the end of how militaristic the US has become under President Jorge, etc. etc. etc.

As to this situation, CNN doesn’t give a fig if soldiers from a foreign nation invade US soil and hold a law enforcement officer of the US government hostage. Who cares? Only frothing-at-the-mouth conservatives care about things like border security anyway.

The truth of the matter is that the government of Mexico is losing control over their armed forces.

A U.S. Border Patrol agent was held at gunpoint Sunday night by members of the Mexican military who had crossed the border into Arizona

It was unclear what the soldiers were doing in the United States, but U.S. law enforcement authorities have long said that current and former Mexican military personnel have been hired to protect drug and migrant smugglers.

"Unfortunately, this sort of behavior by Mexican military personnel has been going on for years, "They are never held accountable, and the United States government will undoubtedly brush this off as another case of 'Oh well, they didn't know they were in the United States.

Has President Bush wrote an official letter of thanks to Mexico, for not harming our law enforcement personnel?
