Will Paris Hilton’s energy plan work?

CLICK THE PICTURE FOR VIDEO OF PLAN: I support the Paris Hilton Energy Plan ..... I am not kidding....

.

.

As you probably know by now, the 2008 US presidential campaign became a three-way race Tuesday, as Paris Hilton, irked by John McCain’s use of her image as electoral fodder, threw her hat in the ring.

Ms. Hilton declared her candidacy on Will Ferrell’s website.

The video shows the blonde socialite lounging by a pool in a leopard-print swimsuit and high heels at her home in the Hamptons as she announces that she is, “Like, totally ready to lead.” After pausing briefly to finish reading an article in Condé Nast Traveller on where to fly to to get the best tan, Hilton outlines her energy policy:

.

says Paris Hilton:.... Barack wants to focus on new technologies to cut foreign-oil dependency, and McCain wants offshore drilling. Well, why don’t we do a hybrid of both candidates’ ideas? We can do limited offshore drilling with strict environmental oversight, while creating tax incentives to get Detroit making hybrid and electric cars. That way, the offshore drilling carries us until the new technologies kick in, which will then create new jobs and energy independence. Energy crisis solved.

(Apparently, she recited all this without cue cards.)

Her plan sounds more like McCain's then Obie's. McCain should pick her for VP.

More tax incentives to Detroit? more of our oney down the drain?

Com’on you guys - people are begging for more hybrids. Detroit doesn’t need tax incentives. They need to kick the union monkey off their backs.

Drill now drill everywhere.

McCain should pick her for VP.

I think he should say she's on the "short list" ..... that would kick Obama's ass

That whore can stick her plan where the sun doesn’t shine.

Drill on and off shore without restrictions and build refineries.

Build nuke power plants and eliminate gas fired generators

Electric Tonka Toys are for fools!

Eliminate all government subsidies for alternate energy scams.

A President has to be at least 35 years of age. Paris I hope when you reach that age you still look good

I heard that the body of the Montauk Monster had been kidnapped.

I see that they found it again.

Look, let's be civil here. While Paris is just another Hollywood celebrity, her video & commentary was pretty cute. It was McCain, after all, who brought her into this.

I think she's maturing and growing up a bit. She couldn't help it if she was born with a silver spoon. Hell I'd be partying too nonstop in my 20s if I inherited money.

Paris was in favor of the use of alcohol in automobiles before it was considered the green thing to do.

...good idea Paris, but if you haven’t noticed drilling for oil off the coast is AGAINST THE LAW. Moreover, instead of letting free enterprise inventors come up with more efficient power sources, the government is going to dump millions in grants to “scientists” who’ll sit around and do pretty much nothing.

Yeah - it’s a really simple idea, the problem is liberal politicians got involved.
