I love Governor Perry.

My leftist In-Laws hate his guts but he’s a great guv. He’s created a business-friendly environment in the state and the economy is growing by leaps and bounds down here.

And this article simply shows how sensible he is. Too bad the federal bureaucrats don’t share his ability to reason.

He’s created a business-friendly environment in the state

If you are a large corporation, maybe. If you are a small business, Perry is poison. He instituted a state income tax on small businesses, with the STUPIDEST new franchise tax in American history, based on sales, rather than profits.

Lots of small businesses (mine included) are being punished on both ends - the property tax relief promised did not apply to us, and the new franchise tax kicked in.

God help me - I voted for Gov. Trans-Pappiloma, so I guess I deserved it.
