The idiot, Leach, should check with Dubya as to how all that bi-partisam “new tone” crap works out. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

The NYSun has a very interesting editorial on the anti-Israel bent of the three most prominent members of this group.

Rita Hauser is a PLO apologist with a long record of meetings with Yasser Arafat, even while the US government was calling him a terrorist.

Lincoln Chaffee was the Senator chiefly responsible for scotching John Bolton’s confirmation as US Ambassador to the UN, on the grounds that he was not “even-handed” enough with respect to Israel/Palestinian affairs. Chaffee was one of only four Senators to vote against the Syria Accountability Act.

Jim Leach made a speech on the floor of the House titled “The Case for Restraint Against Iran.” He was one of only 21 House members to vote against the Iran Freedom Support Act.

Couple this with Obama’s endorsement by a leader of Hamas plus many thousands of dollars in illegal campaign contributions from a Palestinian group.

Draw your own conclusions.

"Whitaker told the Daily News-Miner that he likes Obama's energy policy and believes the Democrat has the stronger "intellectual capacity" of the two candidates."

FOTFLMAO

You and Leach are hereby kicked out of the party. You are now demorats for Obama.

True. Bush is not and never was a conservative. He only made a few necessary conservative moves to avoid a liberal perception and obtain votes.

about Chafee is that Bush worked to try and help re-elect him

Bush wanted to have McConnell as majority leader, not Harry Reid. Chaffee is sort of like the GOP version of Joe Lieberman in that respect.

I could be wrong on J.C. Watts Raven, but I was listening to his show in Phoenix the other day and it didn’t sound to me as if he was considering Obama.

I don’t live there, was just working there and listening the 2 days I was in town, so I could be wrong. Has he said he’s undecided? He’s a biggie, that’s for sure.

Watts has always been a strong proponent of affirmative action, which by definition is racist. I never trusted Watts because of that, so I am not even mildly surprised.

Also - JC Watts (former Oklahoma R. Congressman) is still undecided.

Hey, why not? 98% of his fellow blacks are voting based on race. Et tu Watts?

My eyes are wide open... I also read that he is 100% for reparations. What a Conservative!

Good piece of information. The commonality is very telling.

I did not know that he was for reparations. It seems that Watts and Obama have much more in common than race. Very disappointing, but at least Watts has been exposed as a liberal.

but every time I have heard a politician from Iowa speak lately, they are against drilling.

Please watch for comments on drilling from Senator Chuck Grassley, Congressman Steve King (IA-5) and Congressman Tom Latham (IA-4). Iowa politicians, all, who strongly endorse Drilling HERE, Drilling NOW.

Personally I think it is great that someone of a color other than white is vying for the office. Watts says the same thing. But let’s not confuse the sentiment with outright support. I’d vote someone with green skin if they were conservative.
