Her presence in Tblisi is the most significant thing. Condi is reiterating demands for Russia to pull its troops out.

Condi briefed Saakashvili on clarifications on the ceasefire agreement.

Condi said that since Georgia has now signed the ceasefire agreement, Russia needs to pull back all its foces to their positions before the conflict began at once. She repeated that a few times. Should be interesting to see what happens on the back of that.

Saakashvili is blistering the Russians for destroying civilian cultural structures including a new concert hall. He calls them barbarians. He’s fired up. Condi’s cool demeanor is a good contrast.

The Georgian President loves his country I like him very much.

He has no love for the Russians, that's for sure. I like him for that reason alone.
