McCain hit it out of the park homerun
Doc and I turned on the TV in the den earlier and we each got on our computers her to write a paper and me to post comments on FR.
Doc told me not to bother her because she wasn't interested in some mega preacher tossing softball questions to a candidate and listening to all the egos.
Out walked Obama and the questioning started and for many of those questions Doc thought he acquitted himself fairly well.
Doc has always refused to do abortions so we disagreed with Mr. B.O big time.
During the break Doc said “McCain will have to really watch his P's and Q's if he is to make headway against B.O”.
This is the first time in years that I have seen Doc take an interest in any kind of show involving the two candidates.
After the first question to McCain, Doc turned off her computer and we watched McCain hit question after question out of the old church ball park.
I believe we were both stunned as McCain exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds.
I am no longer worried about who McCain picks for VP.
The man can carry the load totally by himself.
One thing about living on a farm or ranch, country boys usually know what to do when their stepping in a cow patty.
Mr. B. O., stepped in a huge cow patty big time in Germany and with his lame response on Russia invading Georgia. Yet he still can not determine where the stink is coming from.
what is sad is they have a game plan, they dont like the outcome, they are still trying to get Hillary. where as the republicans have rolled over and accepted mccain and desenters are called whiners or dem mouthpieces. this whole election has been a schadenfreude.
wow....think he'd share with a racist conservative?
This is getting more and more indicative that Hillary has laid down the law behind the scenes and Obama is simply reflecting his defeat.
If only. It will be Hillary...
I really like Denver. I hope it doesn't get destroyed.
Can't say I agree with him on everything, but I will say one thing and that is I would absolutely feel safe with him at the helm.
They're more negative about Obambi than we are, if that's possible, and they plan to punish him by voting for McCain.
These are full term babies described in the article above. Obviously he is someone with a cold heart no matter how much he comes across as caring.
I agree...McCain was terrific. Didn’t see Obama, but caught a moment of dem. damage control, and they were panicked. (So I knew Obama hadn’t done well.)
That's because, IMO, this was set up with Rick Warren to let people see the "White" Christian Barry, a opposed to the "Black" "Christian" Barack.
"Hey, voters, lookee here! I'm sitting here with a WHITE EVANGELICAL (we've been friends a long time). You can forget all about that hateful Rev. Wright Black Liberation Theology thing. Oh, and that little Born Alive thing? That's just a smear, a lie. Vote for my White half! (You Black folk know Michelle is the real thing and she'll be The Good Woman Behind The President and we'll both give ya'll the reparations you are due.)"
I watched it from start to finish and did not come away with the impression it was a set up at all.
That fact that Uh'bama even went to Saddlebrook Church to answer questions he know would alienate his moonbat base and barely satisfy the evangelical base was a huge risk on his part.
One that in hindsight was a VERY BAD idea if you are Uh'bama.
He can across as inexperienced and a lightweight. Made some major mistakes, like "above his payscale" comment
If anything Warren set Barry up for failure by staging the event in the way he did as Uh'bama has a difficult time speaking a complete flowing sentence without a teleprompter in front of him
He does NOT support gay marriage and abortion.
Ping!!!
Has he ever really held a true job?
Every conservative who feels like staying home or voting for a third-party candidate in protest should be forced to watch both candidate’s performances once a day as a prescription for ending their silliness.
B. Hussein “snort” nObama is the greatest danger to the fabric of this nation since the Great Depression.
Horrific. And Downs babies/children are so precious. My friends had a Downs girl and she’s now in her 20’s, loves the Lord, helps do housework, sings in the choir, dances, and just loves the daylights out of you. How can anyone just decide to kill a born child like this? It is really demonic.
I agree. I think Obama is extremely dangerous and has an agenda we will regret if he gets into office.
A Christian leader refusing to speak about gay marriage and abortion, for fear of alienating followers or for any other reason, is tantamount to supporting them. Any legitimate Christian leader would use every opportunity to condemn them in frank terms (as does the Pope, for instance).
Then Newark, N.J. and a few other cities will have riots again like in the good old days? It only takes a few nuts to start one. Add drugs and booze and it looks just like a normal movie today.
