UPDATE: ABC News' Ron Claiborne, traveling with the McCain campaign, reports that McCain senior adviser Charlie Black would not say whether people around McCain while he was en route to Rick Warren's forum had access to blackberries and cell phones from which they could have tipped off Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., about the questions.
"There's no reason we would do that," was all Black would say, though quite obviously there is a reason.

What the heck is the big deal? It wouldn’t have changed any of their answers anyway.
The Obama campaign whines too much because they know they have a little runt of a candidate they have to make excuses for.
It is a given, accepted on faith by the Democrats, that Obama is smarter, more eloquent, and a better debater than any other person. Given the obvious fact that McCain rode him hard and put him up wet, they have to postulate all sorts of explanations for this turn of events. The fact that Obama is just not very good at this stuff will never occur to them, because it contradicts their assumptions.
The Obamaniacs are praying for the Rapture so most of Red State America disappears, which would insure a win for their boy Barry, lol
Had an aid cue him on what? It wasn’t a debate, and the questions were about personal opinions: they had no right or wrong answer. And Obama had THREE questions in advance to McCain’s two. Face it, McCain was just better prepared and OBVIOUSLY answered above Obama’s “pay grade”. These people need to step back from Hollywood and Get Smart. “Cone of silence” indeed.
It was really interesting the way he stopped in the middle of the word “inexperienced” when talking about why he would never have nominated Clarence Thomas. Rush was all over that today.

It was McCain’s forum, because the questions exposed core beliefs, which Obama must hide because people, even his supporters would find them abhorrent.
The controversy exposes the left, though, because they reveal that they would have not hesitated to cheat if they could.
Obama’s daughters say he hates ice cream. He’s can’t even just be honest and say he doesn’t like it, but has to pander on desserts too.
How can you cheat when you technically can’t answer a question wrong? Cheat on what??

McCain cheated by not dumbing down his responses to look as bad as Obama.

Great point — the counter-attack should be that it is Obambi who is terrified of having an unscripted mano-a-mano debate OR “town hall” meeting with McCain, that it is Obambi who cannot perform verbally without a careful script fed to him by his puppet-masters via teleprompter.
Ah, that's it! McCain ORIGINALLY planned to hem, haw prevaricate and say "um" a lot, but he sneakily listened to Obama's questions and was forced to change his plans because Obama did all that first!
