Duh...it's Detroit, the capital of Democratic Party corruption. You Michiganders must be so proud!

"Wayne County Circuit Judge Robert Ziolkowski said Monday that the city charter does not give the council power to force out Kilpatrick."

The law is the law, if the charter says they can't then it will have to be done a different way is all. I doubt a judge with the name Ziolkowski has ulterior motives in this for favoritism anyway.

Detroit ain’t never gonna get rid of Kwame, he is that cities cross to bear, its symbol.
Corruption, graft, lies, cover ups and what not. Over the years Detroit has become the worst of America.

I’m actually hoping they lift Kwame’s travel restrictions so he can attend the convention in Denver and show his full support of B. Hussein Obama. The photo ops will be priceless and will hopefully be enough to put Michigan in the Republican column come November.

Unless there’s been a change, my understanding is that he has specifically been allowed to attend the convention.

The Obama camp has made it clear that they don’t want him at the convention at all, and have done so publicly.

If you see a group of people standing around the airport with saps and baseball bats looking at Detroit flights with Obama shirts on you’ll know why...

Cuyahoga County OH and Western PA (Mike Veon scandal) are giving Detroit a run for it’s money.

All depends on the who’s and the what’s, and I will guarantee that no one is stupid enough to touch money from Kwame with a ten foot pole right now.

This is not the brightest councel in the Nation. One councelwoman got up to speak and did NOT know they were tearing down Tiger Stadium.

I'm not all that surprised that the city charter doesn't have a provision for removing the mayor from office.

It sounds like they need to fix that, however I'm betting it would need to go to voters, and that they won't be able to get it on the ballot by November.

The only way he is likely to be removed is if he's in jail. Maybe then the governor won't be able to ignore or stall on the issue any longer and would have to remove him.
