Wonder if it will have cane sugar like Passover Coke? I don't think that's an issue for halal. In fact I don't think they're doing anything to the formula here, just the can, for marketing purposes.
Good think they didn't use a picture of the Prophet!

Wow, look at all the kneejerk reactionism in this thread. I've got a great idea, let's go boycott Disney again while we're at it! That'll show em![/sarc]I don't see them. No one is advocating a Coke boycott that I see.
If Coke want's to see a boycott, instead of crescents in majority Muslim countries, let them put a Cross on cans in this majority Christian country, they'll get boycotts.

BTW, one of the very few people to have seen the ingredient list for Coke was the Rabbi who certified Coke for decades.

Good to know there’s “Ramadan” Coke. I’ll drink it with my Bacon Double Cheeseburger.

From what I caught on the Fox news report, these moon god marked cans will only be sold in the ME and Africa. ;-)

Yeah, I can say "Ford" as the AFA boycott was effective unless you think Pajamamedia is lying.
-----
"The boycott therefore began in earnest in March 2006. Given the boycotts potential for serious damage, especially at a time when Fords business fortunes were heading in reverse, I expected the company to do something to rectify the situation quickly. That didnt happen. Ford vastly underestimated the boycotts impact. As I noted in late January:
* The AFAs home page claimed over 778,000 boycott petition signers (over 780,000 signers when it ended).
* The AFA itself claims to have over 3.3 million supporters.
* Boycottford.com listed over 30 supporting organizations.
* It is likely that each boycott supporter, AFA member, and at least some members of the other boycotting organizations influenced three to five others not to buy Ford products.
* That would mean at the boycotts peak there were between 12-20 million boycott participants perhaps as many as 10% of all potential vehicle buyers.

I wouldn’t assume all of the declines were solely from Christian boycotters. But I’d say they certainly factored into those declines and did have a real significant impact.

I don't think the piggly-wiggly would stop them if they thought no one was looking.
Found you a cool pic to send to coke to help them with fresh new marketing campaign analassis.

Fortunately we will never see pandering to Islamics by those who make alcoholic beverages. The most celebrated and expensive wine in the world (Romanee Conti) has this overlooking its celebrated vineyard. It is also on the wooden case the bottles are shipped in although not on the label which is quite plain in design.
