Toby Keith, perhaps best known to non-country audiences for his post-Sept. 11 song "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue," says he's a Democrat, and was impressed by the senator from Illinois.

Celebrities...they’re all the same. No real surprise here.
Toby’s a great singer and being from the south the fact that he’s a Democrat is a given, there are many more registered Dums than Repubs down there. But nobody, and I mean nobody, has ever accused the boy of being smart.

This is going to hurt Sean big time. This guy is supporting the troops like crazy (supposedly)(Maybe just publicity) and then sings praises of commie ombami who would rather work out than visit wounded troops.
Did he use Sean? What’s the saying in publicity, “Just get my name right” or something like that.
He sure revelled in all the attention at the Freedom Concerts hosted by Sean Hannity.
All the pretending he cared about the troops when it was all about free publicity. Now he s votes for the single most military hating candidate in memory.

but since Oliver North and Sean are running the dang things, they should maybe pick people who they agree with politically....

I knew he was suspect after his interview with Glenn Beck. His comment on gay marriage was a dead give-away.
Maybe he’s being subtle. What does “best Dem candidate since Clinton” mean. Not much I would say since Clinton got 43% of the popular vote.
This Keith guy says he’s undecided. This statement is pretty good:
“Why anybody would care who Toby Keith voted for is beyond me,” he (Toby Keith) says. “I’m really digging in and getting myself educated right now, but people need to go educate themselves and not listen to moron celebrities.”

I could not agree with the statement more. Who cares? I like his music, and I really appreciate his dedication in visiting and performing for the troops and marines.
He is free to vote for whomever he wants. I will still buy his Cds.
How can Barry be considered a person who supports the troops when he blew off a visit wounded troops for a chance to visit a posh gym in Germany.
