Beckel and Colmes were just following the Progressive Playbook, Page One: when the facts are against you (which is virtually all of the time,) go on the offensive and attack the character and mean-spiritedness of those who are offering the facts. I still remember Juan Williams head exploding in disbelief on H&C. He was away on vacation when this issue started to percolate. Hannity told him Juan what Obama did and Juan said (paraphrasing) "Of course Obama would stand up to protect born alive babies". When Hannity corrected him, Juan simply could not believe it-it was as if Sean was making it up.

I saw the exchange on Hannity & Colmes. Bob Beckel was going berserk, almost screaming in the mike.

I happened to walk in and found Beckel and Colmes in a shouting match in what obviously was an attempt to drown out statements, questions or replies by the other party.
Mr Colmes on this program developed this skill of over talking, interrupting, deflecting on any for him inconvenient replies or statements.

They ARE freaking out. Fractures are appearing over their BO selection...some saying Hillary had what it takes for a street fight and BO does not.

They are genuinely disheartened by the latest polling trends...but the MAJORITY are convinced the "One" will pull it out in the end.

They are afraid of the GOP...tactically...in an election. They consider the GOP MASTERS of communication, and thereby manipulation, of the "dumb/stupid" electorate.

These polls are driving them crazy.
