Explosive Audio Found - Obama arguing against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act . . . .

(Hear Audio) . . . .

In this audio Obama coldly claims two doctors helping a baby born alive after a botched abortion would be a burden for the aborting mother when he is arguing against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act at the Illinois state legislature April 2002.

Obama doesn’t care about the baby getting the medical attention, just whether or not the aborting mother is burdened.

Also, I wonder why all these clips only include that one small portion?

I would like to hear the whole argument by Obama. It is quite damning. I want to hear in his own voice, Obama saying:

Senator Obama:

“So -— and and again, I’m — I’m not going to prolong this, but I just want to be clear because I think this was at the source of the objections of the medical society. As I understand it, this puts the burden on the attending physician who has determinded, since they were performing this procedure, that, in fact, this is a nonviable fetus; that if that fetus, OR CHILD—HOWEVER WAY YOU WANT TO DESCRIBE IT (my emphasis)-—is now outside the mother’s womb and the doctor continues to think that it’s nonviable (because it is unwanted. Unwanted children are not ‘viable’-—me) but there’s, let’s say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they’re not just coming out limp and dead, that, in fact, they would then have to call a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live CHILD that could be saved. Is that correct?”

Thanks for sending this. But, as I have already said, I would like more of his argument in audio. What he says, is despicable. Disgusting.

I don’t know if you are the one who told me, but someone made the observation that Obama thinks that the decision of when life begins is ‘above his paygrade’, but it is a decision for a 14 year old girl!

No, I watched the Forum. Just saying that if it is against his paygrade, how can he think it is alright to allow 14 year olds to make such a monumental decision?

What I was talking about, are the clips I have seen of Obama’s argument on the floor of the Ill. Senate agruing against the BAIPA. I think if they publisized more of what Obama said, it would have more impact.
