ABC News' Teddy Davis and Arnab Datta Report: The McCain campaign is responding to Sen. Barack Obama's, D-Ill., "housing" attack with an ad that goes after the Illinois Democrat for his ties to convicted land developer Tony Rezko.
"If you want to talk about a housing problem," McCain spokesman Brian Rogers tells ABC News, "Sen. Obama certainly has one when he bought his million dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon."
"That's a house that he could not have bought without Mr. Rezko's actions," said Rogers. "It raises questions about his judgment. And you know it is an issue that we think the American people care far more about than how many houses or properties or dog houses that John and Cindy McCain have."

Obama, you are pw3nd!
Mccain shouldn’t be doing this during the Olympics and before Obama is confirmed.
Wow. I never expected McCain to be this aggressive...and this fast too.
Makes you wonder what ammo they have lying around for October.
Too bad McCain didn’t paly hardball with bush in 2000.
I’m pretty sure the country would be in al ot better shape.
Lots of people have Dodd’s Syndrome.
I love the part of the DOG HOUSES...LOL!! That’s what am talking about...fight and fight back hard with a KO punch!!
McCain plays hardball, too bad Bush didn’t, he would have had smoother sailing showing the liberal democrat hypocrisy.
:::::::
Very true. Bush turned out to be a HUGE disappointment when it comes to fighting America’s enemy within. We gave him TWO CONSECUTIVE terms with a congressional majority to boot, something we will not see again for some time possibly. He wasted it.
McCain may do some good. We just need to make sure that the Commies do not take over the White House and the Congress! This is big election for America’s future.
Political ad copy, "Do you trust a political party that can't make up it's mind, what happens when that phone rings at 3 AM?"
Gee. If I didn't know better, I would SWEAR Obama was somehow tricked into bringing up the issue of housing.
Gee. Funny that.
Yeah the dog house thing was great, but I bet Obambi’s dog house has butler service and dog bowls made of 14K gold.
Too bad the Panel tonight thought this was the biggest “gaffe” in history for McCain. And Mara has been very shrill this week. Almost in panic mode.
It's the "War Room" strategy used so effectively by Clinton: Identify a problem issue promptly and then go for the jugular to turn it to your own advantage.
Unfortunately, George W. Bush never learned how to do this or simply refused to do this. I am still waiting for the Bush White House to say a single word about these:
Does Obama realize what a fool he is by bringing up this issue? Does the average person really care how many houses John McCain owns? Obama must really be desperate.
the new obama-ayers domestic terrorism ad is even more brutal

I agreed with Fred tonight, I don’t think this is a big deal, so what he owns houses legally....I’m almost glad it happened because now the ads (which have been likely ready to go and just waiting for an open door)using Rezco will be all over the place. THAT is the real story, the felony aspect versus the legal property that McCain owns.
I’m halfway through the Corsi book “Obama Nation” and I cannot help but think there is more ammo in the bunker on Obama than all the ammo dumps in Iraq at the end of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He sounds so corrupt he makes the Clintons look like pikers.
Right plus all we have to do is mention Kerry, Clinton and a host of other dims that also own lots of property and what about the Kennedy’s—OMG!-—that is the pot calling the kettle black.
